President Trump’s 2025 Middle East trip to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE—repeating his first term’s initial foreign visit—focuses on securing over $1 trillion in investments. Qatar’s offer of a $400 million Boeing 747 for Air Force One, amid Boeing’s delays, faces ethical scrutiny and opposition from BKP, citing corruption concerns. The 390-page “big beautiful bill” raises the debt limit and proposes tax cuts, but BKP rejects it, demanding permanent tax cuts, no taxes on tips or Social Security, and auto loan interest deductions. Conservatives, wary of deficit spending, criticize the bill’s lack of fiscal restraint, recalling opposition to omnibus bills under Boehner, Ryan, and McCarthy. A deficit-neutral bill is urged to sustain the $36 trillion national debt, with only one reconciliation bill allowed to bypass a 60-vote Senate threshold. Lobbyists heavily influence appropriations, undermining the process. Trump’s trip, accompanied by figures like Elon Musk, aims to boost U.S. exports and reset global trade, while airport delay reports raise suspicions of sabotage tied to Biden’s $25 billion infrastructure law.

  • Trump is in Saudi Arabia. The three wealthiest countries in the world: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates. This is the first trip he took in his first administration.
  • Qatar gives the US Department of Defense a free jet. Boeing is behind schedule in producing a plane for the Air Force One fleet. BKP is a no on the free plane entering the Air Force One fleet.
  • The big beautiful bill is 390+ pages, BKP is a no. tax cuts need to be permanent, no tax on tips, on social security, deduction on auto loan interest. In reality if we don’t cut deficit spending we would not be able to sustain the debt any longer. We need a deficit neutral bill. As conservatives, we didn’t like anything about the omnibus bill that Boehner put together or the omnibus bill that Paul Ryan put together and Kevin McCarthy did the same thing. We have been promised 12 appropriation bills. It doesn’t go out the window because it is Donald Trump. What they are doing in this bill right now is raising the debt limit, tax cuts. Now you can only do one reconciliation bill, where it doesn’t take 60 senators to pass. What they are telling you is they will not get it through if it doesn’t go through reconciliation. The democrats can get a bill pushed out the window in a flash but republicans can’t. In congress the house of representatives spends the money. All the house members are in these appropriations committees. It is a disaster on how they appropriate these bills. The lobbyists are like the bugs that are crawling all over these appropriation committees. The lobbyist makes the changes.
