When they go into office it is not what is best for the coun­try. Thune is giv­ing the impres­sion that he sup­ports the can­di­dates. But the sen­ate is all about the insti­tu­tion and not the Amer­i­can peo­ple. This is the first time that they have been up against a pres­i­den­tial man­date and the mon­ey to put a pri­ma­ry can­di­date up against the dis­senters. 
  • Things have changed for Pete, he has the momen­tum. Notice the Sen­a­tors that are com­ing out for Pete, Lind­sey Gra­ham. Just last week he was a drunk wom­an­iz­er; and now it looks like things were turn­ing his way. We don’t trust Lind­sey Gra­ham. Just last week it seems like Joni was a no for Pete. There are rumors that she wants to be Sec­re­tary of Defense and we know she is ok with trans­gen­der in the mil­i­tary. They are try­ing to fig­ur­ing out who #4, Hegseth can only lose 3 repub­li­cans votes to get con­firmed: Lisa Murkows­ki, Susan Collins, and Mitch McConnell. They still want to get Tul­si, Pete and Kash out. Just because you are see­ing pic­tures with Pete and sen­a­tors doesn’t mean that he is in the clear. They are look­ing for that fourth repub­li­can to vote no. Con­fir­ma­tion hear­ings won’t hap­pen until after Jan 3rd.

The maga is not the repub­li­can par­ty. The pri­ma­ry, you need to make sure the base is on board. They will put the right peo­ple on the tick­et to help Don­ald Trump. Remem­ber Blu­men­thal said by Fri­day we would not be talk­ing about Pete. Did the repub­li­cans adjust the plan? Psa­ki is say­ing behind the scenes they are a no.
