The FBI’s Future. How Will it Turn Out?

The list of com­plaints fol­low­ing the FBI’s fail­ure to even alert the New Orleans and oth­er local PD’s that such a ter­ror­ist pos­si­bil­i­ty exist­ed is grow­ing. The fact that the attack was so eas­i­ly car­ried out by a lone Jihadist, sent two mes­sages: we’re not ready so we can expect the dead­ly Islam­ic attacks will con­tin­ue and, the Amer­i­can pub­lic can­not depend on Fed­er­al Law Enforce­ment for pro­tec­tion. It has been cor­rupt­ed to defend the Pro­gres­sivism of Demo­c­rat politi­cians over the US Con­sti­tu­tion. I think we’re in for a long haul of ter­ror­ist out­rages.

The FBI’s ini­tial response tells us they did­n’t have a clue. That attack was a mes­sage to all Amer­i­cans that 2025 is going to be dan­ger­ous, Don­ald Trump or not. The FBI’s intel­li­gence fail­ures left Amer­i­cans exposed and open to fur­ther out­rages. It was a har­bin­ger of our deep­er prob­lems, a lack of respon­si­ble bipar­ti­san lead­er­ship. Polit­i­cal lead­er­ship, how­ev­er it’s defined, is now in Repub­li­can hands but still infect­ed by enough RiNO’s who believe they can guide the GOP’s future back to sup­port­ing the mil­i­tary-indus­tri­al com­plex, ie: wars make jobs. The prob­lem with the GOP is that if they can’t all agree on every point in any plan to move for­ward togeth­er, they do noth­ing, aban­don the plan and melt away.The Democ­rats are not slow. They’ll pick up the pieces and run with it and we will be head­ed back to a Marx­ist perdi­tion.

On Novem­ber 5th, 2024, the rad­i­cal Pro­gres­sive Demo­c­rat par­ty died on the tip of their “woke” sword, an ide­ol­o­gy that demands impos­ing ideals proven unwork­able again and again with schemes that fly in the face of com­mon sense like wokeism, gen­derism and males in wom­en’s sports, among oth­ers. None of these “Woke” points are in our Con­sti­tu­tion, includ­ing chang­ing the pur­pose of the mil­i­tary into an exer­cise in social engi­neer­ing at the expense of ful­fill­ing their intend­ed mis­sion of break­ing things and killing peo­ple. To the alien­at­ed patri­ots in Amer­i­ca’s fly over coun­try, many hav­ing done their duty to the coun­try, such activ­i­ties appear to be beyond just rad­i­cal, but dan­ger­ous as well.

Trump see’s and under­stands the prob­lems left to us by the Democ­rats. By his selec­tion of qual­i­ty exec­u­tives untaint­ed by pre­vi­ous asso­ci­a­tion with the deep state, he expects his admin­is­tra­tion exec­u­tives to pri­or­i­tize clos­ing the bor­der to the flow of ille­gal invaders, expung­ing the crim­i­nal ele­ments already here, restor­ing the mil­i­tary’s moral and reset­ting its con­sti­tu­tion­al pur­pose. The mil­i­tary, espe­cial­ly the Navy, needs rebuild­ing to face the Chi­nese threat. Trumps choice of Pete Hegseth as his Sec­re­tary of Defense is a step in that direc­tion. Hegseth’s bonafides can­not be denied. He has com­bat expe­ri­ence and has wit­nessed the decline of the all vol­un­teer mil­i­tary with the Pen­tagons “woke” ide­o­log­i­cal purges of MAGA sol­diers and sailors of which he him­self was a vic­tim. Pete’s mis­sion, apart from rebuild­ing the mil­i­tary is to reverse the Biden years of anti-con­ser­v­a­tive indoc­tri­na­tion and return the mil­i­tary to its pri­ma­ry task, defense.

But, back to the ter­ror­ist threat and the FBI. One won­ders what the reac­tion of the FBI’s field agent when a young FBI ASAC with a nose ring, con­tra­dicts the New Orleans Chief of Police that the attack was not a ter­ror­ist attack. Who believes who? The agents must be con­fused if not embar­rassed and cer­tain­ly angry. The Wash­ing­ton Times news­pa­per got busy and sought out and inter­viewed many field agents. Their respons­es were as expect­ed:

“Rank-and-file FBI agents were tak­en aback by Ms. Dun­can’s (New Orleans ASAC) pre­sen­ta­tion and her com­ments. The new FBI man­age­ment has to put in basic deco­rum rules because the bureau should look like the ’Men in Black,’ that they’re all uni­form — that they’re trans­par­ent,” an FBI agent said. He said the pub­lic should “see the bureau, not some­body with a ring in their nose. Who the hell would go on TV with a ring in their nose?” Anoth­er agent said. “Who the hell would ever say it’s not a ter­ror­ist event when there’s an ISIS flag fly­ing on the back of a truck? They call that a clue.” That was a quote and I won­der why an agent referred to the attack as an “event.” Just won­der­ing about the FBI’s mind­set. Any­way, the Times arti­cle report­ed quotes:

“You have two major events going on — the Sug­ar Bowl and New Year’s Eve, and the SAC is out of town. that’s why she (Dun­can) was out there,” said yet anoth­er FBI agent. “they left nobody in charge.” Anoth­er agent said it is not sur­pris­ing that Ms. Dun­can did not ini­tial­ly call the New Orleans inci­dent ter­ror­ism because it didn’t fit the FBI lead­er­ship’s cur­rent def­i­n­i­tion of ter­ror­ism. “It ain’t ter­ror­ism unless they have a MAGA hat on. For the last three years, all of the new agents, that’s all they know. It’s going after the right-wing or Trump sup­port­ers,” the agent said. “this is endem­ic with the head­quar­ters.”

It’s refresh­ing to know there are still real Amer­i­cans work­ing with­in the ranks of fed­er­al law enforce­ment who know the score. New­er taint­ed agents should be fired or retrained on the Con­sti­tu­tion and rule of law, and the FBI’s Direc­tor­ship should nev­er fall to com­pli­ant lawyers with­in the DoJ. They must come either from out­side or from with­in the ranks of the Bureau’s agent corps. Mer­i­toc­ra­cy should be the first mea­sure of con­sid­er­a­tion.

We still have that exis­ten­tial Islam­ic threat lurk­ing out there ready to strike at will. As US cit­i­zens we must be ready to con­front the dan­gers when they appear and sup­port our local  police when they need it. It will take a while for the FBI and oth­er fed­er­al law enforce­ment agen­cies to regain the trust of Amer­i­cans. In the meas­ntime, trust your own instincts first. We can only hope!
