It was always under­stood that Elon would leave when the terms were up on the spe­cial employ­ee. Elon said you can put Big and Beau­ti­ful togeth­er, and we agree but he didn’t trash the admin­is­tra­tion. Trump will look for Elon to be an advi­sor. 
  • DOGE report, cred­it card update. After 13 weeks the pro­gram to audit unused unneed­ed cred­it cards across the 32 agen­cies has result­ed in 523K de-acti­vat­ed cards. There were 4.6M active cards/accounts. 
  • Trump met with Jerome Pow­ell yes­ter­day. Appar­ent­ly Pow­ell came out and assert­ed their inde­pen­dence. Pow­ell reit­er­at­ed that he will only low­er inter­est rates based on eco­nom­ic pres­sures.
