Democrats clash over first time homeowners equity and aid

Raphael Warnock and Max­ine Waters put gigan­tic dif­fer­ing price tags on the aid that would give first time home buy­ers $25,000 in direct pay­ments to pur­chase a home. Stat­ing these pay­ments would help close the gap of just 44 per­cent of Black Amer­i­cans own­ing homes, com­pared too 75 per­cent of white Amer­i­cans own­ing homes. Democ­rats believe this will help with the lack of inter­gen­er­a­tional wealth.
