- This is one of the top political scandals in Georgia. Kemp promised 7500 jobs from Rivian. With Rivians GA plant paused, the massive sites fate is uncertain. Kemp brought in Rivian for a boost in his 2022 governor race with the help of the economic development authority.
- GA economic development commissioner is grilled by Senate republicans after Rivian puts its $5B plant in east GA on hold. Pat Wilson says the state has already spent $141M on the state controlled site. $141M was wasted, it was more than we paid for the dominion machines. It would be enough to replace our voter system.
