The US “Intelligence” Apparatus and Why It Is Not Our Friend Anymore

The 2024 elec­tion is almost upon us and any new alle­ga­tions of pla­gia­rism or fas­cism by this can­di­date or the oth­er goes in one ear and out the oth­er. I vot­ed and I’m not inclined to change my opin­ion. I shall not opine any fur­ther there­fore, about the incom­pe­tence and cor­rup­tion of the incum­bent gov­ern­ment and its prac­ti­tion­er’s, or the cor­rupt Deep State that sup­ports it because oth­er things of major sig­nif­i­cance are hap­pen­ing to our Amer­i­can Repub­lic that no mat­ter who wins, will adverse­ly affect all of us.

When I refer to the “Deep State” some will envi­sion the name­less, face­less hoards of bureau­crats who labor in their cubi­cles in the cement canyons of Wash­ing­ton DC, to thwart the ambi­tions, ideas or pro­pos­als of any politi­cian, con­ser­v­a­tive or oth­er­wise, who dares chal­lenge the unspo­ken agen­da of their Mas­ters. Upon his depar­ture from office, pres­i­dent Eisen­how­er warned us to beware of the Mil­i­tary-Indus­tri­al Com­plex. Still savor­ing the new Amer­i­can posi­tion as vic­tors over fas­cism and new mas­ters of the world, his warn­ing was ignored and in its ascen­den­cy, the new Amer­i­can state had to be pro­tect­ed itself hence, the growth of intel­li­gence. FBI Direc­torJ. Edgar Hoover, had long since oper­at­ed Counter-Intel­li­gence and Counter-Espi­onage schemes against Nazi Ger­many, but also Amer­i­can politi­cians. It is not gen­er­al­ly known but every Com­mand­ing Gen­er­al of a Corps or Army, had an FBI Agent on  staff. Gen­er­al Pat­tons staff FBI Agent was his own nephew Fred Ayres Jr. who lat­er wrote a book about his famous uncle titled: Before the Col­ors Fade. It’s inter­est­ing read­ing pro­tec­tive to Pat­tons’ lega­cy but instruc­tive to his­to­ri­ans nonethe­less.

Fol­low­ing WWII, the mis­sion of the OSS, a series of clan­des­tine high­ly trained com­man­dos, lan­guage spe­cial­ists, oper­a­tives and ana­lysts became redun­dant to the needs of the ser­vice but proved so effi­cient in for­eign intel­li­gence col­lec­tion that with the grow­ing onslaught of our for­mer ally and new ene­my, the Sovi­et Union, that a new pur­pose was imag­ined and the old OSS assets were fold­ed into what is todays Cen­tral Intel­li­gence Agency. But, their man­date was abroad while the FBI was the­o­ret­i­cal­ly lim­it­ed to con­duct­ed its Intel­li­gence oper­a­tions with­in the bor­ders of the US. It was years of con­fu­sion over who had what author­i­ty when a CIA oper­a­tion over­lapped with the FBI’s author­i­ty. For a while it was for­bid­den to share oper­a­tional infor­ma­tion. Nev­er­the­less, while the Depart­ment of Defense also had its own intel­li­gence oper­a­tions and worked out of mil­i­tary facil­i­ties, the FBI placed its agents in embassy staffs as FBI rep­re­sen­ta­tives. The CIA oper­at­ed out of their own secret facil­i­ties but keep­ing an eye on the FBI. The com­pe­ti­tion for intel­li­gence was often fierce, the prod­ucts (intel­li­gence) often less than the best and accu­sa­tions of the oth­er’s incom­pe­tence over­shad­ow­ing the needs of the gov­ern­ment. Then came 9/11and the intro­duc­tion of the Patri­ots Act that had been sit­ting on a shelf wait­ing for such a dis­as­ter in order to con­sol­i­date the needs of the new grow­ing unAmer­i­can Deep State.

The col­lu­sion of gov­ern­ment and the Mil­i­tary-Indus­tri­al Com­plex is when wicked minds turn greedy and con­spire to take gobs of mon­ey from the pub­lic cof­fers under the pre­text of such pro­grams as “The Infla­tion Reduc­tion Act,” to advance or sus­tain their own agen­da. Dic­ta­tors do that because the need of mon­ey to sus­tain their dreams is the anchor point of fas­cism. It does­n’t have to be but Herr Hitler used it to rebuild Ger­many’s post-Ver­sailles econ­o­my  pro­vid­ing employ­ment to mil­lions, rais­ing the stan­dard of liv­ing of most Ger­mans, mak­ing promis­es about restor­ing Ger­many’s hon­or and great­ness, at the same time man­dat­ing all Ger­man cit­i­zens, except Jews, fall in line, salute and obey the will of the state for the greater good. Isn’t that what Democ­rats are call­ing for today in fear of Trumps return?

Hitler knew the inter­nal dan­gers to his Third Reich so he cre­at­ed a body­guard of young Ger­mans yearn­ing to serve the state in any capac­i­ty, for his pro­tec­tion. They were the SD, the SA and in turn the SS whose job it was to over­see polic­ing, intel­li­gence and oper­ate the death camp sys­tem in Nazi Ger­many. Our knowl­edge of these orga­ni­za­tions is not lack­ing and if we look close­ly we can see the faint but alarm­ing out­line of a total­i­tar­i­an police state, ris­ing like the SS of Nazi Ger­many, here in Amer­i­ca oper­at­ing almost inde­pen­dent­ly, with­out fear, under the aus­pice’s of the Deep State, not the US Con­gress or the Con­sti­tu­tion.

The work of Intel­li­gence has many facets and in order to keep a leash on what infor­ma­tion is dis­sem­i­nat­ed or not up to lead­er­ship, what is impor­tant and what isn’t, what’s hap­pen­ing in oth­er coun­tries and how will their actions affect the US is the pri­ma­ry role of gov­ern­ments  Intel­li­gence agen­cies. Dur­ing the Cold War, intel­li­gence was direct­ed to pro­tect­ing our mil­i­tary-indus­tri­al secrets from the Sovi­et bloc nations like Poland, East Ger­many and oth­ers. Then the Sovi­et Union col­lapsed and for a decade or so we’ve idled along with­out a main ene­my to con­front but still spend­ing wads of mon­ey, not on mil­i­tary stuff, but sil­ly social pro­grams to fur­ther entrap Amer­i­cans to gov­ern­ment hand­outs while ignor­ing Chi­na and North Korea mil­i­tarism lurk­ing on the hori­zon. Our Viet­nam expe­ri­ence, a war we chose not to win, exhaust­ed the patients of Amer­i­cans sup­port open­ing the door for Marx­ist style rad­i­cal­ism to infil­trate our schools and start the process of reform­ing the minds of Amer­i­c­as chil­dren to thinks in terms of col­lec­tivism.  Then 9/11 hap­pened and for a short while, Amer­i­cans came togeth­er again to face an unsus­pect­ed but new com­mon ene­my, Rad­i­cal Islam.

Wel­come Barak Oba­ma who, alas, told us he want­ed to fun­da­men­tal­ly change Amer­i­ca and, he did! He ordered the FBI and oth­er intel­li­gence agen­cies to cease train­ing their agents on how to com­bat Islam­ic Jihadism and, too con­sid­er Islam not as an ene­my but as peace­ful friends brush­ing off the 9/11 attacks as aber­ra­tions of rad­i­cals not wor­thy of the name Mus­lim. Under Oba­ma’s hands, the Patri­ot Act sud­den­ly became an intel­li­gence tool to be used, just as Hitler did in Ger­many, against the inter­nal ene­mies of his State, gen­er­al­ly White Chris­tians, now MAGA con­ser­v­a­tives, the first and sec­ond amend­ments of the Con­sti­tu­tion and any oth­er law that stands in their way of com­plet­ing the fun­da­men­tal chang­ing of Amer­i­ca.

The intel­li­gence agen­cies, espe­cial­ly the CIA under the direc­tor­ship of John Bren­nan a con­vert to Islam, the FBI under the direc­tor­ship of John Comey an apos­tate to the rule of law, the Direc­tor of Nation­al Intel­li­gence, the Direc­tors of ATF, IRS and now appar­ent­ly, even the Secret Ser­vice, have brought their agen­cies com­plete­ly under the umbrel­la of grow­ing rad­i­cal Marx­ism that is the bed rock of the Biden-Har­ris admin­is­tra­tion. To com­plete the job they have pur­pose­ly flood­ed our bor­ders with for­eign invaders over­com­ing Amer­i­c­as resources, state by state, city by city and coun­ty by coun­ty. Where’s the out­cry? It’s ignored because while they are try­ing to sti­fle the First amend­ment with cen­sor­ship, they still know that it’s the Sec­ond Amend­ment that pro­tects the First and they are com­ing after our con­sti­tu­tion­al means of self defense. The US intel­li­gence agen­cies are the point of the spear if the Marx­ist gov­ern­ment in wait­ing is going to suc­ceed. Joe Biden just autho­rized a change to the Posse Com­minta­tus Act to allow US Fed­er­al troops to assist police in riotous sit­u­a­tions with the author­i­ty to shoot to kill. It’s uncon­sti­tu­tion­al but the don’t stop try­ing! In the mean time, new for­eign entan­gle­ments, Ukraine and Israel, and squalid lit­tle trib­al wars in Africa have inter­fered with their agen­da rous­ing the sus­pi­cions of brain inert Amer­i­cans. Old ene­mies, Rus­sia and Chi­na are coa­lesc­ing with Iran and North Korea to cre­ate a new Axis of Evil, and we sit here basi­cal­ly unpre­pared know­ing the threat but not fac­ing it. Our US Navy being a case in point with its lack of suf­fi­cient war­ships to con­duct a two front war. The prob­lems are many and we des­per­ate­ly need Con­ser­v­a­tive Amer­i­can lead­er­ship.

Novem­ber 5th’s elec­tion should return Don­ald Trump to the White House but, he has only four more years. They have not giv­en up try­ing to stop him for eight long years. We need to turn our atten­tion to state and local pol­i­tics to restore Amer­i­can con­sti­tu­tion­al­ism. The fight is on and it will be a long hard slog but we must “adapt, per­se­vere and over­come.”

Remem­ber, free­dom is the goal, the Con­sti­tu­tion is the way. Now, go get ’em! (26Oct24)
