There is not a state ban on trans­gen­der ath­letes in GA. The only thing we did with leg­is­la­tion is give the GHSA to make a rule (not a law) that you do not have to allow trans­gen­der ath­letes to com­pete in a sport. We have school dis­tricts that don’t abide by the rule. 
  • Go to your board of edu­ca­tion, you will have to sign up because you don’t have the free­dom of speech at your board of edu­ca­tion. They will let you know that it is a pub­lic com­ment and they don’t have to answer ques­tions. Ask them the sim­ple ques­tion, no mat­ter what age or cir­cum­stances, if a child says to their teacher that they are con­fused on who they are, what is the offi­cial reac­tion of the teacher and the school at every lev­el and age. Are you required to tell the par­ents? And does the school sys­tem have a tran­si­tion­ing plan in place and it is pub­lic? What is the step by step plan if the child says that they are con­fused? 
  • They have tran­si­tion­ing plans in Amer­i­ca’s school sys­tems. They have plans on how they get par­ents involved or not. How young they will facil­i­tate the tran­si­tion. They have men­tal health bills that estab­lish men­tal health facil­i­ties fund­ed by tax­pay­ers in your schools for your kid. And we have a gov­er­nor that is com­ing out to tell you that they have increased edu­ca­tion spend­ing to fund the men­tal health facil­i­ties in your schools. 
  • The buzz word is women’s sports. If they can get you to believe that they will stop the boys from play­ing in the girls’ sports. They want to turn your chil­dren neu­tral.
