Chinese hack of US telecoms compromised more firms than previously known. Who keeps an eye on our systems? We have the hack of our US Treasury, our telecom companies. The hacker compromised third party cybersecurity service provider BeyondTrust and was able to access unclassified documents. According to the letter, hackers gained access to a key used by the vendor to service a cloud based service used to remotely provide technical support for Treasury department offices end users. Beyond Trust is working with CISA (US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency and the FBI to assess the hack’s impact.

Every lawmaker should outlaw these machines. It is against the law to vote on these machines. Voting machines parts made by foreign supplies stir security concerns. We know that these machines and the recent hack our election systems are compromised.

It has been a year since the Halderman Report was released that these machines are hackable and that there is a patch that was necessary for the machines and we need to update the machines. Who is to say the updates aren’t cyber time release bombs. In the Halderman Report, these machines cannot be secure. Georgia won’t update vulnerable Dominion software until after the 2024 election. But now Brad Raffensperger is about to tell you that we had the most secure election in 2024 and they will ask for money to update the machines and put the patch in place. And lawmakers are going to push back on the spending money.
