  • Geor­gians to watch the Don­ald Trump admin­is­tra­tion and what it means for 2026 as all of Georgia’s con­sti­tu­tion­al offices are up for elec­tion. 
  • Lit­tle polit­i­cal his­to­ry of Geor­gia. It was a pret­ty big deal when Son­ny Per­due became gov­er­nor. Geor­gia has nev­er actu­al­ly gone repub­li­can. There was a debate over the old Geor­gia state flag that had the con­fed­er­ate flag. Son­ny Per­due promised that we could vote on the flag, there would be a new design.  And we nev­er vot­ed on the flag. From that day on BKP has been tired of polit­i­cal stunts. 
  • Kel­ly Loef­fler (for­mer US Sen­a­tor, nev­er won an elec­tion and now will be the Sec­re­tary of the SBA and pos­si­ble oppo­nent for 2026), David Per­due (for­mer Sen­a­tor, lost his rebid then ran for Gov­er­nor against Bri­an Kemp now he is going to Chi­na), Doug Collins (ran against Kel­ly Loef­fler and lost, for­mer Con­gress­man and now he will be sec­re­tary of VA), Her­schel Walk­er (lost the Sen­ate race and they don’t want him back, he is Ambas­sador to Bahamas)…what do they all have in com­mon? Oppo­nents. They have all been moved out of the way and will not be oppo­nents in 2026. 
  • Trump got Bill White out of the way, he want­ed to turn Buck­head into a city. He was a real thorn in Bri­an Kemp’s side. Bill White is Ambas­sador to Bel­gium. 
  • Josh McK­oon made cam­paign promis­es to the GA GOP, he is a very good friend to David Shaf­fer, who was list­ed as an alter­nate elec­tor in the Fani Willis case. If we had the abil­i­ty to do an audit of the GAGOP, we may have anoth­er means to pros­e­cute David Shaf­fer. Josh is the chair­man to pay David Shaf­fers legal bills and keep him out of jail. Josh’s promise was to make GAGOP rel­e­vant again. He worked to restore the par­ty ties with Kemp, Bri­an Kemp had no use for the GAGOP Inc. Josh works for Kemp and has said he would nev­er do any­thing to dam­age the rela­tion­ship. Josh was also instruct­ed to oust a rogue vice-chair, BKP. Bri­an Kemp could not have BKP in the GAGOP.  Now McK­oon could be in for a nation­al GOP posi­tion down the line. 
  • The GAGOP Inc, will you accept Bri­an Kemp at your next con­ven­tion? Remem­ber Deb­bie Doo­ley was going around the con­ven­tion to get peo­ple to boo Bri­an Kemp and turn their backs… won­der if she will do it again. 
  • We are get­ting ready to have quite a polit­i­cal sea­son this year. 
  • In Fan­nin coun­ty 66% of cit­i­zens said yes to the HB581 pro­pos­als and the Board of Com­mis­sion­ers are plan­ning to opt out. You have to go voice your opin­ion. 
  • What is next for the par­ty in Geor­gia? At Repub­li­can Women of Hall Coun­ty meet­ing on Jan­u­ary 23 at 6pm
