Georgians In Donald Trump Administration And What It Means For 2026
- Georgians to watch the Donald Trump administration and what it means for 2026 as all of Georgia’s constitutional offices are up for election.
- Little political history of Georgia. It was a pretty big deal when Sonny Perdue became governor. Georgia has never actually gone republican. There was a debate over the old Georgia state flag that had the confederate flag. Sonny Perdue promised that we could vote on the flag, there would be a new design. And we never voted on the flag. From that day on BKP has been tired of political stunts.
- Kelly Loeffler (former US Senator, never won an election and now will be the Secretary of the SBA and possible opponent for 2026), David Perdue (former Senator, lost his rebid then ran for Governor against Brian Kemp now he is going to China), Doug Collins (ran against Kelly Loeffler and lost, former Congressman and now he will be secretary of VA), Herschel Walker (lost the Senate race and they don’t want him back, he is Ambassador to Bahamas)…what do they all have in common? Opponents. They have all been moved out of the way and will not be opponents in 2026.
- Trump got Bill White out of the way, he wanted to turn Buckhead into a city. He was a real thorn in Brian Kemp’s side. Bill White is Ambassador to Belgium.
- Josh McKoon made campaign promises to the GA GOP, he is a very good friend to David Shaffer, who was listed as an alternate elector in the Fani Willis case. If we had the ability to do an audit of the GAGOP, we may have another means to prosecute David Shaffer. Josh is the chairman to pay David Shaffers legal bills and keep him out of jail. Josh’s promise was to make GAGOP relevant again. He worked to restore the party ties with Kemp, Brian Kemp had no use for the GAGOP Inc. Josh works for Kemp and has said he would never do anything to damage the relationship. Josh was also instructed to oust a rogue vice-chair, BKP. Brian Kemp could not have BKP in the GAGOP. Now McKoon could be in for a national GOP position down the line.
- The GAGOP Inc, will you accept Brian Kemp at your next convention? Remember Debbie Dooley was going around the convention to get people to boo Brian Kemp and turn their backs… wonder if she will do it again.
- We are getting ready to have quite a political season this year.
- In Fannin county 66% of citizens said yes to the HB581 proposals and the Board of Commissioners are planning to opt out. You have to go voice your opinion.
