• There will be a lot of political maneuvering as we ramp up the 2026 election cycle. Gainesville mayor to challenge Rep Andrew Clyde in GOP primary. 2026 will be a very interesting election cycle in GA.
  • Transgender bill highlights tension in GA GOP race for governor. LT Governor Burt JOnes has not officially announced he is running for governor. He will make his announcement after the legislation session is complete. AG Chris Carr has already announced. There are expected to be 3 or 4 more candidates for the Republican governor primary. AG Chris Carr settled a lawsuit on transgender healthcare. GA employees can get transgender related healthcare through the state health care plan. Burt Jones is backing a bill to be entered into the hopper to stop the state health care plan from allowing transgender related healthcare to stop gender affirming care.
  • Don’t forget Speaker Jon Burns allowed the first man who thinks they are a woman to be the pastor for the day to say the prayer opening the legislation for the day last year.
  • Fannin county republican party valentines party.
  • GA GOP key convention dates. In the state of GA within 5 years the republican party lost 19 house seats, 5 state senate seats, 2 US senate seats, 1 US congressional seats. The 9th district and the 14th district were the most republican voting districts in the US. In the last redistricting they have diluted the plus R in the 9th and 14th. There is an appeal right now fighting our current districts again in court. Saying we don’t have districts that represent the black population. They want the districts redrawn to represent the black population in Georgia. If lines have to be drawn again, the only thing they can do is continue to dilute the 9th and 14th.
  • The republican party has over abused “grassroots” We have to have the correct people as county chairs, district chairs, and state chair that gets it and puts a stop to the erosion and changes the direction the party is headed. You will not see the money coming in for 2026. The GA GOP has proven that they can’t raise money and are ineffective for winning statewide races. March 22 you have to pick your delegates for the district and state. It is very important. We must turn the GA GOP Inc around immediately. We have to put spending limits on the chairman of the GOP.
  • We are asking for the resignation of Speaker Jon Burns and his general counsel Keith Williams.
