Georgia GOP Divisions Intensify Ahead of 2026 Elections

  • Amer­i­cans vot­ed to Make Amer­i­ca Healthy Again. RFK con­fir­ma­tion hear­ing is today. Hope­ful­ly before the end of the week Pam Bon­di will get her floor vote. She made it out of com­mit­tee 12–10. 
  • We have talked in great detail about HB581, cap­ping prop­er­ty tax­es with the rate of infla­tion. There are coun­ty tax author­i­ties that are opt­ing out. 
  • Who else is going to be on the bal­lot for gov­er­nor? What are you hear­ing? Right now we know we are going to have Burt Jones and Chris Carr. Remem­ber we have all our con­sti­tu­tion­al offices open. 
  • Trans­gen­der bill high­lights ten­sion in Geor­gia GOP race for gov­er­nor. AG Chris Carr made a set­tle­ment to allow trans­gen­der care for state employ­ees under the state health care plan. Lt Gov Burt Jones is putting leg­is­la­tion for­ward to stop it. 
  • We have our GOP con­ven­tions com­ing up. The GA GOP Inc is not pre­pared for 2026. Josh McK­oon does not have the lead­er­ship skills for the statewide seats that are up in 2026. Are you going to wel­come Bri­an Kemp back into the par­ty at the con­ven­tion? The Bri­an Kemp polit­i­cal machines are enor­mous and are work­ing to take over your coun­ty and dis­trict par­ty. There is a plan to take over the par­ty by 2026. WE have to have new lead­er­ship with 14 dis­trict chairs and coun­ty par­ty chairs. We have to have every­one uni­fied, because if we don’t we are trend­ing the wrong way. 2026 state con­sti­tu­tion­al offices could go to the democ­rats. 
  • Right now the AJC is act­ing like they like Burt Jones, and as soon as Keisha Lance Bot­toms becomes the demo­c­rat can­di­date for gov­er­nor they will turn. The democ­rats know that this is the year to take over. 
  • Kemp’s polit­i­cal machine is work­ing all the way down to your coun­ty par­ty. They will rush into your coun­ty con­ven­tions and bring a whole team of peo­ple. They will put for­ward nom­i­nees for dif­fer­ent offices. They will cheat. They will try to lock in all the dis­trict del­e­gates. They will do every­thing to lock out MAGA in the next 3 months. They know that Don­ald Trump will nev­er be on the bal­lot again. They want to reclaim the par­ty. They don’t like how they have changed the par­ty. It wasn’t repub­li­cans that came out to vote for Don­ald Trump, it was the Amer­i­can peo­ple. 
  • 2026 will be the year for them to reestab­lish the par­ty for the estab­lish­ment. This is our chance to turn Geor­gia tru­ly red and con­ser­v­a­tive and knock out the estab­lish­ment out of the par­ty.
