Georgia GOP’s Decline: McKoon, Shaffer, and the Struggle for Election Integrity

This segment focuses on the leadership of Josh McKoon and his role in the decline of the Georgia GOP. While claiming credit for Trump’s victory, McKoon is criticized for failing to help win key elections, and Georgia has seen significant losses in the State House under his tenure. The segment also touches on the problematic history of Georgia GOP leadership, including David Shaffer’s influence and legal issues. McKoon’s recent push for election integrity measures is seen as a political move, with questions raised about his true motivations and connections to Brian Kemp’s faction. The losses of 19 State House seats, 5 State Senators, and 2 U.S. Senators are cited as evidence of failed leadership over the past five years.

  • Rebecca Yardley ran against Josh McKoon on the platform to audit the GA GOP. It doesn’t matter who comes out to endorse Josh McKoon re-election campaign, he is a dictator and a bad man, he doesn’t have to ask anyone for anything. He can write a check without asking, he can enter into a contract with anyone in the country and bind the GA GOP to the contract, he doesn’t have to tell anyone about it. He doesn’t have to tell the board about the contract or anything unless he allows it. He did not do anything to help get Trump elected and wants to take credit for the win. But GA just lost 2 seats in the State House. David Shaffer gave Josh McKoon the job, and David Shaffer is a good man. The GA GOP has not been effective for years.
  • The GA GOP history of decline.
  • If we went back and investigated every document, bank account and transaction through David Shaffers administration, we could find something. David Shaffer got indicted by Fani Willis but he is not a hero.
  • Three weeks after the legislative session Josh McKoon put out a list of election integrity items that he is trying to pass through the legislature knowing full well that Brian Kemp has said not to put any election bills on his desk. He is going around the state pretending to work on election integrity. Where is the statement on what Brad Raffensperger has said yesterday?
  • Keep in mind that McKoon is a rift repairer. He is 100% Brian Kemp rift repairer along with Kandiss Taylor, Salleigh Grubbs, and Marci McCarthy. Why would McKoon want to stay put in a volunteer job passing up a RNC position?
  • Don’t forget we have lost 19 State House seats, 5 State senators, and 2 US Senators. That is 4 years under David Shaffer and 1 year under Josh McKoon.
