Georgia’s political landscape is heating up with key GOP convention dates and the emergence of candidates for the state executive board. There’s a deep state strategy to influence deep red counties, with Catoosa and Cherokee counties notably holding caucuses independently of GOP recommendations. Local party control is contested in Catoosa county. And, the current state GOP chair Josh McKoon is seen as unprepared for the 2026 political challenges.

Economically, the arrival of ICE at the Hyundai plant has sparked discussions on labor conditions and unionization. Meanwhile, the CDC has undergone significant layoffs, cutting over 1,000 jobs. In legislative news, a concerning bill is moving through the Georgia legislature, aiming to create a school security database for children, raising privacy and surveillance issues. More details on this bill are expected soon.

  • Key Convention dates. The candidates for the state executive board. There is a deep state machine in the state. They have a plan to take over deep red counties.
  • Counties are holding their caucasus off the dates suggested by the GOP. Catoosa and Cherokee counties being discussed. The Catoosa county establishment wants to take the party away from the current chair.
  • Josh McKoon does not have the ability to meet the challenges we will be up against in 2026.
  • ICE was at the Hyundai plant yesterday, hundreds were running and jumping fences. Brian Kemp brought them over here and gave them enormous tax breaks and they were going to employ so many people but they didn’t have the water needed. The area was already stressed for water needs. The Kemp administration wrote into the budget $650M for water low interest loans. Watch this, what you are about to see is this being the reasoning for unionizing Hyundai.
  • Mass layoffs at CDC. More than 1000 employees were fired over the weekend.
  • There is a bill going through the Gold Dome to build a database for our children under the guise of school security. More information on it tomorrow.
