Budget Meltdown, Cabinet Kickoffs, and Political Power Shifts

In a whirlwind of political and economic developments, Republicans passed a budget resolution, sparking a media frenzy with “crisis” as the buzzword. Today marks the Trump administration’s first cabinet meeting, attended by all, and Elon Musk. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s upcoming Friday visit is teased as a “big deal” for a rare earth mineral agreement, vital for tech industries. A grim economic picture for the United States: a broke populace and nation, with debt interest threatening to eclipse tax revenue, a recessed private sector, and a Biden-era economy inflated by printed money. Scott Bessent, Trump’s pick, pledges to reprivatize this fragile system. Media chaos erupts over White House press pool access, amplifying tensions.

Politically, Trump endorses Byron Donalds’ freshly announced run for Florida governor, hinting at a MAGA split with Ron DeSantis, who reportedly wants his wife Casey to succeed him. This move raises speculation about Trump’s influence on 2026 races, notably in Georgia.

  • Republicans passed a budget resolution yesterday. Crisis is the word on every network. Chaos didn’t test well.
  • Today will be the first cabinet meeting. Everyone will be in attendance. Dan Bongino does not have to have Senate confirmation. Elon will be in the cabinet meeting. Elon has a seat at another table today. He is a special employee of the White House, he can be there for 130 days? What do you think about Elon Musk being at the cabinet meeting?
  • It sounds like Zelensky will be here friday. It will be a real big deal. Zelensky will be here for the rare earth mineral deal.
  • The American people are broke. The country is broke. The media can get upset about medicare, medicaid, social security, and the fraud that is out there. The very day the interests on the debt surpasses the tax revenue there is no return. Bessent vows to reprivatize an economy that is brittle underneath. The private sector has been in a recession. All the lies that the Biden administration was all propped up by government printing money. It was not based on the turning of the private turning of the economy. You can’t grow a county off money that is printed by the government.
  • The media is going nuts over who can be in the press pool and how the White House is covered.
  • Trump puts his thumb on the scale in Florida with Byron Donalds. Last night Byron made his run for governor official. Does this expose the DeSantis MAGA fissure? Ron DeSantis, two term governor of FL wanted to control the hand over to the next in line. He wanted to hand the role over to his wife, Casey DeSantis. Ron does not want Bryon to be the next governor. The reason this is important is because it will be curious on which races will Donald Trump stick his thumb in around the country in 2026, especially here in Georgia.
