The deep skepticism within the Georgia Republican Party, focusing on Governor Brian Kemp being urged to run for U.S. Senate and speculation about other statewide races in 2026. A recent GOP chairman debate in Cobb County between Josh McKoon and Cross highlighted distrust in McKoon, accused of prioritizing his political career over genuine election security despite past support for Donald Trump. Questioning McKoon’s motives, was he elected GA GOP chair to protect former chair David Shafer rather than address election rigging concerns?

Significant attention is given to Georgia’s election system, particularly the use of Dominion voting machines across all counties, criticized as insecure by figures like Tulsi Gabbard and Trump, who push for paper ballots. Pointing to Gabe Sterling’s role in implementing these machines as a state official, only to return to the Secretary of State’s office after the contested 2020 election. The dismissal of the Totenberg case, which raised machine concerns, and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s reliance on that outcome. Frustration is expressed over the Georgia legislature’s failure to pass any election security bills in the latest session, a first since 2020, despite public findings from Gabbard and Trump’s ongoing claims. The narrative portrays a party divided, with leadership like McKoon and Kemp seen as out of step with Trump’s election security priorities, fueling calls for reform as 2026 looms.

  • They are begging Kemp to run for US Senate. And looking at others in what they will do in statewide races.
  • The other night they had the GOP chairman debate in Cobb county between McKoon and Cross. McKoon cannot be trusted in Georgia. He pretends to be all about election security and he wanted to support Donald Trump before the primary but it is all about furthering his political career.
  • Remember we have Crebs who Trump is investigating and then we have the Totenberg case where Raffensperger is hanging his hat on her dismissal despite concerns of the machines. Tulsi Gabbard says we need to go to paper ballots for the security of our election. Every county in GA uses demonion voting machines. It was the largest voting machine project in the company’s history. They could not find a subcontractor to do the implementation of the machines, did we say no we better pass. No, what we did was take Gabe Sterling in GA, an employee of the SOS office and became the state’s implementation manager of the system and after the election was rigged and stolen he went back to work in the SOS. We have to have safe elections. 2026 is coming to GA. McKoon talked about winning but what we need to have a secure election. It is a shame that Josh McKoon, Brian Kemp and none of our lawmakers can agree with President Trump. Josh McKoon, the GA GOP chair, who stood on the stage of the 2023 convention to talk about paper ballots, and refiling the paperwork. He told the audience how he wants to win in 2026. This is the first legislative session that it is public what Tulsi Gabbard is finding and what Trump has always said is that not a one election security bill was passed. Do you think Josh McKoon was elected to expose the rig election and secure our elections? No, he was elected to keep David Shafer out of jail.
