Donald Trump is orchestrating a bold global economic and diplomatic strategy, positioning the U.S. advantageously against China. Through Steve Witkoff’s third meeting with Putin and begins talks with Iranian leaders, Trump is normalizing relations and driving a wedge between China and Russia. China’s 125% tariff hike is dismissed as ineffective since the U.S. doesn’t heavily export to China, and threats to halt U.S. soybean purchases are countered by Trump’s tariff leverage, potentially targeting counties that work with China. The EU’s tariffs on Chinese goods, particularly EVs, further constrain China, with advisor Scott Bessent warning the EU against aligning with China.

Trump’s team is credited with reordering global trade, enticing companies to strike deals with the U.S., and revitalizing American manufacturing. A budget reconciliation plan, requiring only 51 Senate votes, is advancing to support these goals. China’s intellectual property theft and revisits its 1999–2001 WTO entry, backed by Presidents G.H. Bush and Clinton, as a lopsided deal favoring China. Media concerns about budget costs and rising debt interest are framed as attempts to undermine Trump’s impending successes, with the narrative emphasizing his control over global economics and China’s isolation.

  • Trump has China in a negotiating position with Taiwan and separating China and Russia. Witkoff is expected to meet with Putin today for the third time. The EU has been putting tariffs on China for a long time. Trump has good people that are surrounding him. Scott Bessent says the EU would cut its own throat by pivoting to China. Trump is running the world right now. If there was a picture Trump would be in the front row, center. Talks with Witkoff and top level leaders in Iran on Saturday. Trump is reordering the world. We have a budget on reconciliation and it only takes 51 votes. The senate can pass it with 51 votes. We are going to bring back manufacturing. Changing the tariffs around the world. All the companies want to make deals with the US.
  • China raised their tariffs to 125%, big deal we aren’t shipping to china. China is claiming they are going to make deals and stop buying soybeans from our farmers. China is in a box. Trump is holding every card. If China buys soybeans from Brazil, Trump will add more tariffs. It is not only working with us but not working with China. Trump is separating China and Russia. Trump is isolating China.
  • China steals our intellectual property. They don’t have to research and develop and then they manufacture and sell it back to us.
  • China’s entry into the WTO was a culmination of a lengthy negotiation process, with a key agreement signed in 1999 the US and China signed a bilateral agreement on Nov 15, 1999 paving the way for China to officially join on December 11, 2001. GHBush was ambassador to China. President Bill Clinto in 2000 pushed Congress to approve the US China trade agreement and China’s accession to the WTO, saying that more trade with China would advance America’s economic interests. Economically this agreement is the equivalent of a one-way street.
  • Senate advances budget framework. And now the media wants to know how it would be paid for, they are laying the groundwork because we are about to see this massive success for Trump’s plan. They are laying the groundwork that Trump is coming off the ledge. NOw all of a sudden they are worried that the debt interest is higher than the military spending.
