The Georgia Republican Party (GAGOP), led by Josh McKoon, is plagued by a lack of accountability and is overly aligned with politicians rather than grassroots members. McKoon is accused of resisting audits, pushing out dissenters like Pritchard, Cross, and prioritizing loyalty over party unity. The appointment of Justin Rice as executive director, without a vote, is cited as evidence of dictatorial control. Travis Bowden’s shifting roles are seen as manipulative to maintain McKoon’s influence. Unfulfilled promises, such as refiling party papers, and alleged lies to Jackson County Republicans further erode trust. References to GOP actions in Montana and Wyoming, removing the “R” from certain politicians, and McKoon’s leadership undermines the GAGOP’s independence as Democrats target constitutional offices in Georgia.

  • The swamp is enormous in Georgia and the balance of power has shifted. The GA GOP follows the politicians. Josh McKoon is fine with following politicians and no accountability. When we talk about a republican candidate accountability, Josh McKoon says you better lawyer up.
  • In Montana they removed several R’s from politicians’ names and in Wyoming they removed the R from Liz Chaney’s name. Only after Geoff Duncan endorses Kamala Harris does he remove the R.
  • Unity for Josh McKoon is to get rid of Pritchard and Cross. He wants his slate of officers. So no one will question what he does. Josh wants to be able to have plausible deniability. In his speeches there is nothing about the party. The state committee is told they are the backbone of the party but they are not. When is the last time there was a report of any of the study committees. And the executive committee has a zoom meeting from time to time and they are giving something to vote for.
  • Josh promised he would refile the party papers with the secretary of state to remove the Inc. and reorganize the party.  He hasn’t done it. If he did it now it would be a political stunt. He looked at the people in Jackson county and told them lies. Keep in mind that Josh McKoon keeps fighting and makes him very angry when an audit comes up.
  • Karen Hentschel has been there 15 years. Alex Koffmen is the legal counsel who has been with the party for a long time.
  • The history of the executive director and the installation of Travis Bowden, no letter or notice was sent out on the exit of the previous director. Travis whips the votes. His job was to manipulate things for Josh. Once they got rid of BKP and got everything out of the way. BKP asked too many questions and wanted to meet people, the civil case was an excuse. Now we get to the turn of the primary and Trump is the nominee. Michael Whatley of the RNC probably says that they are going to funnel all this money through and they install their guy and everyone gets a notice that Travis Bowden is no longer the executive director of the GA GOP Inc. the announcement that Travis Bowden is out as executive director and renamed as the chairman’s senior advisor. And Justin Rice is appointed to the executive director of the GAGOP and goes out to everyone at the same time. No vote by the executive committee. Justin is not from GA and was brought in by the RNC. The RNC took over the GA GOP. You think this guy is going to stay to help elect a governor, constitutional officers, and state senators and representatives. They are waiting to get Josh elected. We have 9 US congressional seats that the democrats are going to pour money into these seats to flip back to democrat, none of these seats are in Georgia. If the NRCC (National republican congressional committee) the money will go to the 9 seats that were just flipped, not to the second district in GA that Sanford Bishop won.
  • If Josh wins, the state and executive committee will not be asked, Travis Bowden will be the executive director of the GA GOP. Justin Rice could leave Georgia today without a tie to Georgia.
  • Josh will tell you that Travis Bowden is a volunteer chairman of the GAGOP, do you really think someone would be a CEO of a corporation as a volunteer?
  • Josh McKoon stood before the Jackson County republican party and lied to them this weekend. Josh has an enemies list and Travis Bowden keeps track of it.
