Stephen Aaron’s Leadership and Establishment Ties in Georgia’s 9th District

Stephen Aaron, the new 9th dis­trict GOP chair­man, oppos­es the account­abil­i­ty rule and bars par­ty involve­ment in pri­maries, align­ing with estab­lish­ment goals. His oppo­nent, Bri­an Park­er, sup­ports the Geor­gia Repub­li­can Assembly’s account­abil­i­ty rule, prompt­ing Deb­bie Dooley’s email attack on Park­er and BKP, to bol­ster Aaron. Stan Gunter, a for­mer Demo­c­ra­t­ic DA now rep­re­sent­ing Georgia’s House Dis­trict 8 as a repub­li­can. Despite Union and Towns coun­ties’ 81% Trump sup­port, Gunter backed Paris over a Repub­li­can can­di­date, rais­ing ques­tions about his align­ment with GOP vot­ers. GA state House dis­trict 8 held by Stan Gunter, he lives in Union coun­ty. Fri­day night there were acco­lades that mon­ey was put in to flip a 20 demo­c­rat seat to repub­li­can. Stan Gunter was at the table when it was said. Union coun­ty turned out 81% for Trump. Towns coun­ty was 81% for Trump. Do you think Towns and Union want a demo­c­rat rep­re­sen­ta­tive. Stan Gunter cam­paigned and worked for Lamar Paris. Stan Gunter used to be the DA, he was elect­ed as a demo­c­rat to be Dis­trict Attor­ney of the Eno­tah Judi­cial Cir­cuit.

Stan Gunter is the chair­man of the Judi­cia­ry com­mit­tee, he is also a mem­ber of Agri­cul­ture and Con­sumer Affairs, Appro­pri­a­tions, Eco­nom­ic Devel­op­ment and Tourism, Ethics, Health and Rules com­mit­tee.
