Cobb County GOP Losses and Trump’s Bold Tariff Strategy

Repub­li­cans lost both seats in Cobb County’s spe­cial elec­tion under Chair Salleigh Grubbs, expos­ing local GOP weak­ness­es. Mean­while, the media fix­at­ed on a false claim that Ama­zon would dis­play tar­iff costs, ampli­fy­ing fears about Trump’s tar­iff poli­cies. They want to tell you that these tar­iffs are going to pause ship­ments and the vol­ume from Chi­na is down. They want to tell you what it is going to do to the sup­ply chain. When they say COVID short­ages, there are ware­hous­es in Amer­i­ca where ven­ti­la­tors, remem­ber the pan­ic that we are all dying tomor­row. That COVID was on the card­board box­es in the gro­cery store. But dur­ing COVID we had man­u­fac­tures all over Amer­i­ca that were pump­ing out masks and ven­ti­la­tors. We were putting hos­pi­tals togeth­er on ships in response to a Chi­nese crest­ed virus. The truth about COVID there was a rapid response to this cri­sis. But if there is a cri­sis now to save the coun­try but from the take­down and destruc­tion of this coun­try, we can’t come togeth­er to turn the coun­try around. The fear is not nec­es­sary that there won’t be any Chi­nese crap on the shelves. Every­time the Pres­i­dent or Scott Bessent says that if we stay the course to wait it out it is Amer­i­ca’s chance to come to the fore­front. Chi­na is upset that we aren’t fil­ing our com­plaints at the WTO. Trump has decid­ed to take mat­ters into the American’s hands rather than hav­ing the World Trade Orga­ni­za­tion decide for us. This is the entre­pre­neurs and inven­tors chance to take cen­ter stage. We can man­u­fac­ture things in Amer­i­ca. The media wants you to believe that the prices of things are going to be increased. 
• Trump went to Michi­gan and held a ral­ly. Trump signs exec­u­tive order to ease auto tar­iffs. Trump is not blink­ing or back­track­ing. He is not hav­ing sec­ond thoughts. It is obvi­ous, you put tar­iffs on every­thing and every­one starts sur­fac­ing. You have to do things to bring things to the sur­face. Start say­ing to all the big box stores that you are think­ing of putting these tar­iffs on, every­one would reject them. He didn’t call the stores, he put tar­iffs and all the stores and man­u­fac­tur­ing is com­ing out. And he is get­ting solu­tions, a plan and time­line to shift pro­duc­tion or pur­chas­ing pow­er from Chi­na to an Amer­i­can made man­u­fac­ture. He is get­ting the ven­ti­la­tor report, and nego­ti­at­ing for a change to Made in USA. Trump has giv­en them (box stores and man­u­fac­tur­ing) strict orders to fol­low the plan in the time­line nego­ti­at­ed.
