Concerns over Georgia GOP finances suggest an audit could lead to jail time for some, hinting at mismanagement. Josh McKoon, seeking endorsements, is accused of prioritizing personal power over 2026 election goals. He flipped county chairs in Pickens and Bartow with his allies and Salleigh Grubbs hinting to the Cherokee’s chair an over-80K chair role, all in an effort to oust 11th District Chair David Oles, who opposes him. McKoon favors a public standing vote at the June GA GOP Convention, citing transparency, but critics argue it’s to intimidate voters, as he might lose a private ballot. Past elections, like David Shafer’s narrow standing vote win, suggest private voting could favor challengers against the strong arm tactic. Travis Bowden is reportedly pressuring chairs to support McKoon, threatening to list dissenters as “enemies.” McKoon’s picks are backed by the questionable Veterans for America First (VFAF), raising red flags. Critics demand paper ballots to ensure a fair convention vote.

  • If the right people could get inside the GA GOP to look at the books someone could/would go to jail.
  • Josh is going around asking for endorsements.
  • Josh reached into Pickens county to flip. The chair of Cherokee county there is a lot of smoke, the chair has been promised of an over 80K chair. The Bartow county has flipped to Josh chair. There is a huge effort to remove David Oles as district chair. Josh is making deals left and right, not about winning 2026 and retaining the governor’s office and flip the senate seat.
  • Clicker versus standing vote versus paper ballots. David Shafer won his last election in a standing vote by a slim margin and it is a possibility if it was private Surrea Ivy could have won. The last two elections the clickers have been used. The RNC does not use standing vote, they use private ballot. But Josh is wanting to have a standing vote because “you are representing others in your county and the vote should be public”. Josh doesn’t want a private vote because he could lose. Travis Bowden is whipping the votes to let you know that if you stand for David Cross you will be on the bad side of the chair. They want all the county chairs to take names to be put on the enemies list. So the intimidation of standing is on purpose.
  • David Oles, the chair of the 11th district, is not supporting Josh McKoon.
  • All of Josh McKoon’s picks were endorsed by the VFAF, Stan the Flim Flam Man. Watch out for the VFAF endorsements.
  • Demand Paper Ballots at the GA GOP Convention in June.
