The Georgia Hour, episode 73: Alleged Corruption and Controversies in the Georgia Republican Party

The Geor­gia Repub­li­can Assem­bly (GRA) is urged to con­front char­ter mem­bers who devi­ate from its val­ues, amid claims of cor­rup­tion with­in the Ful­ton Coun­ty Repub­li­can Par­ty. Kan­diss Tay­lor, a GOP offi­cial, made anti­se­mit­ic remarks, yet faced no removal, alleged­ly strik­ing a deal to oust anoth­er mem­ber, BKP, instead. The Geor­gia GOP, led by Josh McK­oon, is crit­i­cized for tol­er­at­ing Taylor’s com­ments and for McKoon’s ques­tion­able expens­es, includ­ing pay­ments for a per­son­al train­er, lav­ish din­ners, and a $7,500 bonus to friend Travis Bow­den, despite claim­ing his role is vol­un­teer-based. Racist dis­plays at a 3rd Dis­trict forum fur­ther tar­nish the party’s image. Spec­u­la­tion sur­rounds Gabe Ster­ling and McK­oon poten­tial­ly run­ning for Sec­re­tary of State. Addi­tion­al­ly, Katie Frost’s media activ­i­ties, and ques­tion­able links to Best Guest Media, raise con­cerns about unnec­es­sary GOP spend­ing on media con­sul­tants, sug­gest­ing favoritism tied to the Frost family’s long-stand­ing sup­port for McK­oon. Grass­roots mem­bers are called to fight this per­ceived pow­er con­sol­i­da­tion and uphold the party’s integri­ty.

• The GRA needs to stand up for your val­ues. You have stand up to the char­ter mem­bers that are not adher­ing to your poli­cies and val­ues. 
• There is cor­rup­tion in Ful­ton coun­ty not just in elec­tions but in the repub­li­can par­ty. 
• Kan­diss Tay­lor said Jews con­trol every­thing. Did they remove Kan­diss? No, she made a deal to remove BKP from the par­ty. Bet­sy, Kan­diss has zero respect. The GAGOP is ok with Kan­diss’ anti­se­mit­ic remarks.  
• The racist com­ments and dis­play at the 3rd dis­trict forum. 
• Josh McK­oon “mis­tak­en­ly” gave the incor­rect card. Josh is pay­ing for a per­son­al train­er, steak din­ner, dry clean­ing, pay­ments to Travis Bow­den after leav­ing the par­ty. Did any­one else get a Christ­mas bonus? Josh will tell you that it is a vol­un­teer posi­tion but his friend gets a Christ­mas bonus of $7500?
• Gabe Ster­ling is run­ning for sec­re­tary of state and BKP thinks Josh McK­oon is going to run for SOS as well. 
• There is zero rea­son why GAGOP would pay for media hits. Katie Frost does a lot of media. It looks as though Katie Frost made some con­nec­tions to Best Guest Media. If any news is going on the media will con­tact the GA GOP. Katie is not going on these net­works to talk about GAGOP. Why would GAGOP get a media con­sul­tant? The Frost fam­i­ly has sup­port­ed Josh McK­oon since he ran for sen­ate. They are fight­ing every­day to pre­serve their sta­tus. To keep their pow­er. The grass­roots are fight­ing every­day to save a coun­try and drain a swamp.
