The Georgia Hour, episode 75: Josh McKoon Georgia GOP Corruption: Unity or Cover-Up?
This explosive podcast episode dives into the swirling controversies surrounding Georgia Republican Party Chairman Josh McKoon, accused of financial improprieties and corruption. BKP dissected claims that McKoon’s push for “unity” masks a cover-up of questionable expenses, including personal trainer fees, Scottsdale AZ bar tabs, a trampoline park, home decor, and dry cleaning, allegedly paid with GOP funds. Critics label these as misuse of donations, with McKoon dismissing them as accidents. The episode explores Trump’s recent endorsement of McKoon, seen by some as a desperate move amid a fractured base, with allegations of purchased endorsements and large donations influencing party dynamics. The hosts unpack McKoon’s severance package for a former colleague, contradicting standard practices, and his slate’s alleged role as a “coverup team.” McKoon’s ambition to run for Secretary of State is scrutinized, alongside his failure to push for paper ballots or acknowledge 2020 election fraud claims. The episode also touches on Salleigh Grubbs’ campaign pivot and Lisa Pierce’s sharp critique of GOP leadership. With election integrity at stake, BKP questioned whether McKoon’s leadership undermines Georgia’s Republican future, urging listeners to demand transparency and accountability. Tune in for a raw breakdown of Georgia’s GOP turmoil.
- The McKoonette never stop discussing unity. It is not unity, it is code word for summit, summit to their corruption.
- Crimes have consequences. We have seen Trump make uninformed endorsements against the base before and when the rest of the financials are released and other improprieties, I am confident the endorsement will not matter. Trump endorses Josh McKoon.
- Several things happened yesterday. There are a string of endorsements that are possibly purchased or large donations have come into play. Several endorsements have come out from Trump for several party chairs. Josh is bleeding with the base. He has the zombies out there and they can’t attack the information, only personal attacks on the people. This endorsement is for breaking glass in an emergency. They have been planning on getting the endorsement for weeks. Michael Whatley was in GA, did Josh call for the endorsement now.
- We have known that Josh McKoon for questionable charges. It is all over social media and it is hurting Josh and the zombies. Even John Fredericks had to get off the air yesterday from the peach pits, he had to say that there is a problem in Georgia.
- In Georgia republicans are supposed to unit and surrender and overlook the corruption.
- In the real world you do not pull out the company credit card. Thousands of dollars was used for a personal trainer. In Scottsdale AZ, Josh paid for a lot of drinks. Josh paid for a trampoline park, recurring charges. And some home decor in the town where his wife lives. Several charges at the cleaners. Josh is going around saying that it is just an accident.
- There is a reason why Josh has put this slate together, the coverup team. Josh does not want these questions. He wants you to be a McKoon zombie. They want submission.
- In the real world, if you have a job for one year and you are let go and dismissed you are told to put your stuff in a box and leave. But Josh says he worked out a severance package with attorneys for Travis. We are being told that he left in June and got paid in July and August.
- Salleigh Grubbs has changed her campaign message, she is admitting her mistakes in Cobb county. She is working on a prayer. She is in a mess.
- Lisa Pierce’s 3 minute speech hit all the marks. Calling Salleigh as failing up. Unity, right Josh?
- Josh wants to be a state officer. Josh was a state senator and gets some name recognition. It was a running joke that he would have a different suit for when it went to the media for different things. He wanted to run for Secretary of State. Brad Raffensperger had a lot of money. There was a run-off between David Belle Isle and Brad Raffensperger, Josh didn’t make the run-off. Josh knows this failed campaign was due to money and not enough name recognition. This time he knows GOP chairs, major donors, and he could run this time and things be different and could have the money. He wants to be secretary of state. There are two ways to get paper ballots. This last session Josh and the GOP didn’t push the paper ballot bill but he says he is for them. Then you have to elect a secretary of state that on day one will decertify the machines. The other night when asked if he doesn’t win, what happens to be the missing piece for election integrity is a secretary of state candidate whose sole platform would be to decertify the machines. Josh McKoon will not say that the 2020 election was stolen.
- Remember this is the first year since 2020 that we have not gotten an election integrity bill under Josh McKoon.
- Josh’s slate is his coverup team. Remember JOsh is calling Travis’ payout a severance package and Travis is calling it a Christmas payout.
- The GOP Inc has a candidate to take pictures with two weeks ago the chairman was a holocaust denier that her children called uncle stu.
