Ro Khanna Targeting Republican Swing Districts

In Georgia’s Sec­ond Dis­trict, Josh McK­oon claims Repub­li­cans can unseat long­time Demo­c­ra­t­ic incum­bent San­ford Bish­op, but the RCCC is unlike­ly to invest heav­i­ly in this chal­leng­ing race. Mean­while, Kan­diss Taylor’s con­gres­sion­al bid in the First Dis­trict is caus­ing unease among GOP estab­lish­ment fig­ures due to her far-right stance and con­spir­a­cy-laden rhetoric. Nation­al­ly, nine con­gres­sion­al dis­tricts flipped Repub­li­can in 2024 by mar­gins under 1%, mak­ing them crit­i­cal to pro­tect for the GOP’s slim House major­i­ty. Demo­c­ra­t­ic Rep. Ro Khan­na is tar­get­ing these swing dis­tricts with town halls, argu­ing the Repub­li­can bud­get fails Amer­i­can work­ers. Khanna’s out­reach is res­onat­ing with Trump vot­ers who lean less tra­di­tion­al­ly Repub­li­can, poten­tial­ly sway­ing a frac­tion of these piv­otal vot­ers.

• Why would Josh McK­oon take Pres­i­dent Trump’s endorse­ment if he doesn’t agree with Don­ald J Trump? Josh is in des­per­a­tion. It will be shock­ing if any­thing hap­pens in the sec­ond dis­trict. They are look­ing at the 1st dis­trict and pro­tect­ing the dis­trict. Kan­diss Tay­lor is mak­ing some peo­ple very ner­vous. In the sec­ond dis­trict, Josh is say­ing that the repub­li­cans can take the seat away from San­ford Bish­op. The RCCC is not going to invest in that dis­trict. There are nine dis­tricts in Amer­i­ca that Don­ald Trump flipped to repub­li­can. If you look at the nar­row mar­gin that repub­li­cans have, we have to pro­tect the 9 seats they are less than 1% vote that flipped the seat. Ro Khan­na is hav­ing town hall meet­ings say­ing the repub­li­can bud­get is not going to help the Amer­i­can peo­ple. Khan­na is going to all the repub­li­can swing dis­tricts Trump vot­ers respond­ing to his town halls, they just need a frac­tion to be reached. They are reach­ing the repub­li­can vot­ers who are not exact­ly repub­li­can, they are trump vot­ers.
