Is the MAGA movement fracturing? Choose your lane: Trump, Tucker, or Bannon, as GOP lawmakers face backlash over a bloated budget bill. Only 35 of 535 DC lawmakers grasp real-world economics, while Elon Musk warns of bankruptcy if spending isn’t slashed. A failed bond sale could tank the economy, with Jamie Dimon and Scott Bessent sounding alarms over debt and expiring tax cuts. House Republicans, once anti-earmark in 2011, embraced them in 2024, outpacing Democrats. Critics slam GOP for abandoning fiscal hawk promises, supporting Musk’s DOGE plan, and passing a single reconciliation bill instead of 12 appropriation bills. Demand clean bills, no earmarks, and pre-COVID spending levels!

  • Was this all by design? Is this the great MAGA split? Are you in the Trump lane, Tucker lane, Steve Bannon lane, etc.
  • Do you like the bill? Are you wearing the MAGA hat and cheering for the big beautiful bill? The lawmakers in DC 535 (100 Senate, 435 House), only 35 understand the real world.
  • Elon has said that we have to reduce spending otherwise we go bankrupt. As soon as a bond sale fails, we are sunk. It is like a bad dream of credit card debt? Jamie Dimond is sounding the alarm to scare the bond market without debt burden. Scott Bessent is sounding the alarm on the tax cuts expiration.
  • Donald Trump has built his companies on debt and the art of the deal.
  • We have our proof that they don’t read the bills.
  • Historically House republicans ended earmarking in 2011. This was in response to concerns about corruption and wasteful spending.  It was revived in 2021 by Democrats in which House republicans voted to also participate in earmarking. In 2024, republicans directed more earmarks to their side of the aisle than democrats.
  • These lawmakers don’t want to stop it. They stole an election, installed a robot, and put trillions of dollars on the books. And republicans are in on it. When they say we need to roll spending back to pre-COVID spending, this is why. Republicans are going to tell you that they are fiscal hawks. And they were supportive of Elon Musk’s DOGE. We were supposed to get 12 appropriation bills but then we were told that we only had one chance to pass the bill and it all had to go into one bill for reconciliation.
  • Republicans: Clean up the bill, reduce spending, get rid of the earmarks, do what you promised.
