The Georgia Hour, episode 95: GA GOP Convention Chaos: GRA Silencing Delegates, Rigging Votes, and Betraying MAGA!

The 2025 Georgia GOP Convention in Dalton sparked outrage as the Georgia Republican Assembly (GRA) allegedly blocked delegates from speaking, enforced electronic “clicker” voting over paper ballots, and violated Robert’s Rules of Order. Key figures like Travis Bowden, Debbie Dooley, and Brant Frost orchestrated a scheme to suppress grassroots voices and maintain establishment control. Despite a resolution barring Brad Raffensperger from running as a Republican, doubts persist about its enforceability. Concerns over voter confidence, potential embezzlement in FEC filings further fueled tensions.

  • Not shocked by what took place Saturday at the GA GOP Convention. In the past, BKP has been reluctant to draw battle lines. If you are a member of the GRA today, you need to leave immediately. Ask for a refund and return the badge. The GRA is not a respectable organization. There are some good people that didn’t get out. On the stage was Josh McKoon, member of the GRA. In the nominating committee was Katie Frost and Kandiss Taylor, both in the GRA. Salleigh Grubbs in the GRA. GRA members standing and blocking the microphones not allowing delegates to speak.
  • Going to conventions for years and have never heard hate speech coming from GRA and in the past we have never been denied access to the microphones. The GRA stopped you from going to the microphone. GRA was on the nominating committee that attacked the MAGARoots. The GRA put you under their foot and ground you into the ground.
  • The convention should be challenged. They didn’t meet any of the Robert Rules of order. They did not allow any debate properly.
  • The GRA doesn’t want paper ballots, the GA GOP doesn’t want paper ballots. The Paper Ballots guys had a team ready to use.
  • The rules were passed out 30 minutes before. They put people in front of the microphones an hour in advance. If you wanted to make a motion and you couldn’t get to the microphone that was GRA. They knew they were not going to let a delegate talk.
  • Once there is a motion and a second the mics are supposed to be open for debate, inquiry and questions. This is when you can amend the motion. But the motion, second and called to question. Before any discussion. They spent $13K on these clickers. There was never any intent to go to paper ballots.
  • There was a planning team to have people at 4 mics an hour before the convention with Brant Frost and Debbie Dooley walking up and down booing and yelling at people.
  • If Debbie Dooley is carrying the water for a candidate, they will not be supported. Debbie Dooley has made a deal with Brian Kemp and the Frost family.
  • In 2020 they stole an election and people came out to say they are on our side and what we needed to do was increase voter confidence. They wrote SB202. Then we had more people act like they were on our side. Josh McKoon said he was on our side. A couple of state senators say they are on our side for voter confidence.
  • We all went into the convention knowing Donald Trump asked for paper ballots and we know the GA GOP says they are in favor of paper ballots. But when it came to the convention they shut down the paper ballots. Never were the clickers ever come to the full delegation. There is not a way to recount or validate the vote from the clickers.
  • The Hero of the Day was Norine Cantor.
  • Whether you like Kylie Kremer or not, the nominating committee is supposed to just ask questions. Kylie recorded Kandiss’ statement.
  • Josh McKoon got endorsed by everyone, except Brian Kemp. Kemp releases a statement congratulating McKoon. Kemp moves to take command of the GOP leaving the state party behind. Debbie Dooley grabbed a small army to boo Kemp off the stage and he said he would dismantle the republican party. And he did with the help of Debbie Dooley.
  • In all the things that we found in the FEC files. And if Laurie McClain wrote the executive committee to question the accusation of embezzlement and all the times that Karen Henschel did the FEC files without Laurie’s name. Has any of this changed? How does she plan to address them this week? Is Laurie going to demand to see the book and investigate if there is embezzlement?
  • Don’t be surprised that Brad Raffensperger will be able to run as a republican despite the passage of the resolution this weekend.
