Trump Defies Newsom, Unleashes National Guard on LA Riots!

Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump has tak­en bold action, fed­er­al­iz­ing the Cal­i­for­nia Nation­al Guard to quell vio­lent protests in Los Ange­les over immi­gra­tion raids, bypass­ing Gov­er­nor Gavin New­som in a rare move not seen since the Civ­il Rights era. With near­ly a mil­lion undoc­u­ment­ed immi­grants in LA, Trump vows to sup­port Bor­der Czar Tom Homan’s depor­ta­tion efforts, tar­get­ing sanc­tu­ary cities iden­ti­fied by the Depart­ment of Home­land Secu­ri­ty. New­som, out­raged, plans to sue, claim­ing Trump man­u­fac­tured the cri­sis. Amid the chaos, Way­mo self-dri­ving taxis were set ablaze, prompt­ing the com­pa­ny to sus­pend ser­vices in protest areas, rais­ing ques­tions about its future in LA. Trump also oppos­es adding funds to the One Big Beau­ti­ful Bill Act to pro­tect LA, focus­ing instead on restor­ing order in inner cities.

There are about a mil­lion undoc­u­ment­ed peo­ple in LA. Gavin New­som is upset. It hasn’t been since civ­il rights that the pres­i­dent bypass­es the gov­er­nor in call­ing the nation­al guard. Trump bypassed Gavin New­som. Trump fed­er­al­izes the CA Nation­al Guard in an unprece­dent­ed move. These cities knew this was com­ing. The Depart­ment of Home­land Secu­ri­ty put out a list of sanc­tu­ary cities and knew this was com­ing. Trump will not stop Tom Homan from going through the cities to remove the ille­gals.
