Uncover the latest drama in the Georgia GOP as financial discrepancies and FEC fines raise questions. With 14 inquiry letters since January 2023 and a $14,500 fine for incorrect filings, the GA GOP faces internal turmoil. Who is signing the FEC reports? Explore key congressional races in Georgia, who is staying and who is getting primaried. Will someone primary Rich McCormick in the 7th District? Could Kandiss Taylor’s controversial campaign and alleged broken promises derail the First District? Get the latest on GA GOP’s financial chaos and 2025 election battles.

  • The day before the election of the GA GOP Inc officers there were a lot of questions about the finances. And because the officers are put in place, it doesn’t change the fact there are some questions surrounding the finances.
  • Buddy Carter took the reins of the 1st district from Jack Kingston who was congressman for 17 years. Jim Kingston, Jack’s son, has stepped up because Buddy Carter is running for Senate. There is a little talk that Buddy could fall back into the first district. Buddy is a stretch for the Senate because he may not get the Kemp endorsement or the Trump endorsement.
  • District 3 is a new congressmen Brian Jack is doing great and showing up for work.
  • District 7 is Rich McCormick. Someone needs to primary Congressmen Rich McCormick. If the right person comes up in the 7th, they could possibly get the Trump endorsement. Rich McCormick endorsed Ron DeSantis and campaigned for Ron outside of the state.
  • District 8 and District 9 are safe, but the democrats are putting up candidates.
  • Every one feels in their gut that District 10, Mike Collins will jump into the Senate seat. He is very active in campaigning. What is interesting about Mike Collins is that Mike didn’t get the Trump endorsement. And he kept his campaign focused on America First and then once he won he went full MAGA. Trump loves this guy. The 10th district has Athens? Could Mike Collins get the Kemp nod? He has never gone negative on Brian Kemp. if Mike Collins ran for Senate who would run for district 10.
  • Barry Loudermilk is the 11th district. He is not a strong congressman, he has stayed in the good graces of Trump. He has a primary challenger. the former chairman of the pickens county GOP, Christopher Mora.
  • The guy that needs to go is Rick Allen in the 12th district. It is time for him to go home. He does have a primary challenger.
  • The 14th district is MTG; she may step out and run for governor. She has 2 republicans challenging her and 3 democrats. You could see some new names in congress for GA.
  • District 1 is important. They could pull down the entire state in a negative way if Kandiss Taylor wins the primary. Now there has been a little bit of money that has flowed into the first district. We don’t know what the promise was for Kandiss to stab the grassroots in the back. The first district chair Brittany Brown better play a neutral role in the Congressional race. Now Kandiss and Jacqueline McKoon have been praying together. But when Kandiss finds out that the promises will not be filled and that Brittany Brown will have to stay neutral, Kandiss may come unglued. Kandiss should leave the race now.
  • Krista Penn is joining the race in the first district. It should be the most exciting race in the state. Looking at the 10th, 11th, and hopefully the 7th.
  • Before the convention we revealed some financial issues within the GA GOP. some of the things questioned the involvement of Karen Hentschel, she is the executive person that controls the money in money out and reports. The treasurer is a volunteer officer. Laurie McClain does not have a job at the GAGOP Inc. Now there are three people listed on the corporate paperwork, Josh McKoon, Susie Voyles, and Laurie McClain. The treasurer is listed on the FEC report. IF there is a question or an inconsistency about the report it goes to the treasurer, not Karen Hentschel.
  • Since January 2023, there have been 14 letters of questions about the FEC reports. If the FEC has questions they send the inquiries to the treasurer. WE know that through a letter to the executive committee for Karen to send something to the FEC without Laurie’s knowledge. Who answers the questions to the FEC? We know that there has been a fine paid to the FEC for an incorrect filing in the amount of $14500. Does Laurie McClain get these letters? Does she know these letters exist? Does Karen send these letters to Laurie? WE need to clean out the GA GOP so that we can win like never before.
  • Laurie McClain writes the executive committee before the election to say that Karen is filing reports without Laurie’s knowledge.
  • Joseph Brannon is the treasurer of the GAGOP inc and the FEC finds the treasurer as the responsible party that files the FEC report. When the FEC settled with the GAGOP Inc and leavied their fine the current treasurer was Laurie McClain.
