The bill got passed. Trump signed it on July 4th. Mike Johnson’s next job will be 2026. The net­works could not say a sin­gle nice thing about the bill, they have peo­ple dying because of it.

Before Elon went after the finances and said he can’t sus­tain the debt, we can’t cheer because of the omnibus bill even though there are some good things in the bill. It is ter­ri­ble in Amer­i­ca that we have a two par­ty sys­tem but it is all the­atrics and every­one has a role in the uni­par­ty. It might be a real­ly good thing in Amer­i­ca to have par­ties but they are shut out because of bal­lot access. What would hap­pen if there was a true third par­ty? Would these politi­cians have to actu­al­ly keep their promis­es? The Elon Musk Amer­i­ca par­ty could focus on a few piv­otal con­gres­sion­al seats, 2–3 Sen­ate seats and 8–10 house dis­tricts that would be enough to serve as the decid­ing vote on con­tentious laws, ensur­ing they serve the true will of the peo­ple. The polit­i­cal sys­tem in Amer­i­ca is bro­ken. Elon Musk is not off the rails, he is the rich­est man in the world, he could decide to go with the Amer­i­can par­ty or his board of his com­pa­nies could tell Elon to put the pol­i­tics away and to focus on the com­pa­nies. He will have a choice to make.
