The Frost family’s alleged $140M Ponzi scheme through First Liberty Building and Loan has rocked the Georgia Republican Party (GAGOP), with deep ties to attorney Alex Kaufman, the GAGOP’s registered agent. Krista Frost, her son Brant V, and daughter Katie Frost hold key GAGOP roles, while Kaufman’s firm received money from First Liberty for legal fees. Questions swirl about Kaufman’s representation of the Frosts and GAGOP, amid calls for a forensic audit. Oh didn’t the AJC say Brant resigned? Did he or didn’t he? We are living in a bizarro world and you can’t make any of this up!

  • Are we living in a bizarro world? You can’t make this shit up. Crickets on the FLBL $140 Ponzi scheme from leaders and GAGOP.  Yesterday the AJC reported that Brant Frost V resigned as the Coweta County chair, which we reported that he had just stepped down. Today, he has resumed his position. We are waiting for a statement from Burt Jones, Chris Carr, State senators and representatives… is anyone going to make a statement. The first move to take the high road is Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger. The AJC is having fun with this… Top Georgia Republicans call on pols to return the money. When just a month ago republicans voted to reject Brad Raffensperger as a republican.
  • Georgia’s top election official Monday called on candidates and political committees to return contributions from a scandal-ridden financial firm and its owners. SOS Brad Raffensperger made the request after the US SEC accused FLBL of defrauding about 300 investors of at least $140M. The SEC says the organization made false promises of big returns but used their money for personal use, for political contributions and to repay other investors. That is the kickout punch that Brad Raffensperger throws and where is everyone else?
  • S Gregory Hays is the receiver to take the money in. We understand that there are several politicians that have already made contact to return the money.
  • Raffensperger received at least $7500 from the Frost family in 2018.
  • Shouldn’t we have Chris Carr, Josh McKoon come out to prioritize the victims. But the Frost family is still intertwined in the GAGOP, not being asked to leave.
  • This investigation is going back to 2014. If you go through the giving report they used the daughters to give money to politicians.
  • These people have been involved in controlling a corruption convention election cycle. Yesterday Alan Brady was the first vice chair and acting chair of the Coweta Republican party. Krista Frost is the second vice chair.
  • What does the Frost family have on Josh McKoon? This is playing out in public that they don’t give a shit. Yesterday Brant Frost told Coweta County that he is not leaving.
  • The whole family is daring the GAGOP Inc.
  • Do you know Alex Kaufman? The registered agent for the GAGOP. Laurie McClain is listed as CFO, if you are the CFO you pull rank. There is no day that Josh McKoon can’t keep you from the books. The GAGOP Inc rules give Josh all the power. But the Sec of State website has her listed as CFO, as treasurer it will be important to be CFO.
  • The Securities and Exchange Commissioner issued a consent judgement against Brant Frost and First Liberty Building and Loan. It is a standard consent judgement. This was needed to start the investigation and the receivership to start. This is not a deal. It is the consent to move forward. Michael Lawrence Brown is the judge that signed it. He has been on the bench since 2018 appointed by President Donald J Trump.
  • There is something bad wrong with this. The judge should be made aware of all the details. There is some conflict here that needs to be addressed.
  • From the consent judgement: “It is further ordered that notwithstanding the foregoing restrictions set forth in Section V, Trusit Bank shall transfer $34,733.64 from the First Liberty Capital Funding account … to the law firm of Chalmers, Adams, Backer & Kaufman, LLC to pay outstanding legal fees incurred by FLBL prior to the initiation of this action.” This is Alex Kaufman who was on the boat with dominion lobbyist John Garst and GAGOP chair Josh McKoon. He is the attorney of the GAGOP. Is he representing the GAGOP case where the Frost family may be involved. Will the receiver send a letter to GAGOP Inc, Alex Kaufman to return all the funds that the GAGOP has received. As state committee members of the GAGOP, Alex Kaufman would represent the Frost family, Brant, Katie and Krista. Who is also getting payment by FLBL in the judgement.
  • Just so you know, Alex Kaufman was on the line during the Jan 2nd call between Trump and Raffensperger. He was on the call in his capacity as general counsel for the Fulton County republican party and as associate general counsel for the Georgia republican party in the 6th Congressional District. This is so intertwined. When the FBI starts looking at the books and harddrives, the GAGOP needs a full financial forensic audit. The audacity of not coming out with a statement, to say to the victims the voters that republicans don’t want your vote. The Frost family are still pushing the buttons at the GAGOP. These people had enough control and were in full panic and under financial stress that they would do anything. Michael Whatley, RNC, needs to know that the panic that the family was under that the entire election convention was rigged from the start. The RNC needs to act.
  • The last known political donation on June 10, 2025 was by Krista Frost to Kandiss Taylor in the amount of $3500. Kandiss was the former first district chair of the GAGOP. Kandiss was on the nominating committee with Katie Frost and Krista Frost for the 2025 GAGOP State Convention on June 7, 2025. What are Kandiss’ intentions? We do not have a statement from Kandiss. She is a candidate for the US District 1 representative. Was that a payoff on June 10th?
  • What does the Frost family know about Josh McKoon, David Shafer, politicians across the state that they have the nerve to stay intertwined in the GAGOP on the state committee, district boards and county boards.
