Georgia Senate Race Heats Up: MAGA vs. Establishment Showdown Looms!

The 2026 Geor­gia U.S. Sen­ate race is shap­ing up as a bat­tle­ground, with Rep. Mike Collins poised to run against Sen. Jon Ossoff, lever­ag­ing strong MAGA sup­port and a like­ly Trump endorse­ment. Derek Doo­ley, son of UGA leg­end Vince Doo­ley, is assem­bling a team with Gov. Bri­an Kemp’s allies, while Insur­ance Com­mis­sion­er John King, a Kemp and Trump sup­port­er, is already in the race. Rep. Bud­dy Carter also joins the GOP pri­ma­ry, but Rep. Rich McCormick has ruled out a bid. Will Kemp and Trump seek a uni­fied can­di­date, can MAGA and the estab­lish­ment find com­mon ground to chal­lenge Ossoff? 

• Things are get­ting ready to unfold in Geor­gia. WE have known for some time that Collins is going to run for US Sen­ate. Now Vince Dooley’s son, Derek is putting a team togeth­er using Kemp’s peo­ple. John King is in the race, King was appoint­ed by Bri­an Kemp as insur­ance com­mis­sion­er. John King is very Trump friend­ly and very Kemp friend­ly. 
• Across the coun­try every­thing MAGA and are we head­ed back to the dark age of repub­li­can pol­i­tics, the estab­lish­ment. Bri­an Kemp has gone to Wash­ing­ton DC to talk to Trump, John Thune and Tim Scott. John Thune has come to GA for meet­ings with Bri­an Kemp. They are try­ing to find a can­di­date that Bri­an Kemp and Trump would be hap­py with. Can MAGA find a medi­um between Kemp and Trump? Then you have Bud­dy Carter from 1st dis­trict. Mike Collins will get the Trump sup­port but will get the Kemp endorse­ment. Con­gress­man Rich McCormick rules out a US Sen­ate run in GA. McCormick wants to be a sen­a­tor but once he stepped out to endorse Ron DeSan­tis, Trump would have released the hounds on this guy.
