There are multiple failures that need to be opened to discussion pertaining to the worsening state of America’s civic and national security, but they won’t all fit into this short essay. Let’s start with the attempted lynching in Cincinnati, Oh., by a mob of young black adults gone berserk against two white people, a man and a woman, who apparently were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Trash talk stimulated by alcohol or drugs is no excuse for what happened. We saw a genuine hate crime there and the Democrats deny it! Only White people can commit hate crimes?
What we witnessed was a “lynching” sure enough, an attempt to administer “frontier justice” to two white folks for some perceived crime that offended the lynchers senses. Lynching does not have to be by a rope. Kicking somebody you don’t know to death because you hate ’em also defines a lynching especially when others join in just for the fun of it. In the old west era lynchings were usually reserved for cattle and horse thieves, and murderers, because law enforcement was either not present or too far away to be of any value.
In Cincinnati, there was no law enforcement present. They came when the shouting was over and when the bloodied victims needed saving. Then we were treated to the latent and demented radical opinion of a city councilwoman “influencer” who said, “They asked for that beatdown.” She was a 67-year-old Black female Cincinnati Democrat, Victoria Parks, who also opined about the Facebook video of the brawl: “I am grateful for the whole story.” Parks, formerly a staff worker for nearby Hamilton, Ohio county government, in her official city biography page, claims she “led the charge in passing Racism as a Public Health Crisis.” Yes, it is a crisis! Alas, she has shown she has a black twisted heart. How does she know they deserved it, or why?
Cincinnati’s white woke female police Chief, Teresa Theetge, didn’t regale herself with garlands of honor either but, she did announced the arrest of five people three of whom, Montianez Merriweather, 34, Dekyra Vernon (female), 24, and Jermaine Matthews, 39, all blacks, were charged with felonious assault and aggravated riot. Police also alleged that Merriweather and Matthews colluded in the “ambush” attack. The attack has all the hallmarks of a “lynching” not because the two white victims were cattle or horse thieves but because they were white and therefore eligible to be hated, beat up and lynched. To lynch folks you don’t know is barbaric and to deny it is an effort to assuage guilt about the feelings of hate that drove their actions. “They deserved it anyway!” The angered Cincinnati police union boss blasted Parks for her hateful comments and called for her resignation.
This business in Cincinnati documenting a black mob assaulting whites is nothing new, except this time it was exposed because too many people with cell phone cameras recorded the beatings, laughing, while doing nothing to stop it. It’s all over social media now and exposes a factual truth, a clash of cultures potentially reigniting a racial divide. Until Barak Obama came on the scene our cultural divisions were mending somewhat. What was a cast of former slave descendants from two hundred years ago, of peoples with no written language and virtually no intellectual achievements, a debatable point to be sure, snatched from their tribes and sold as chattel, politicians created “laissez faire” policies that was not fair to either group by releasing newly freed black people into a white society that viewed them as inferiors. This struggled for racial equality, not equity and equal outcomes has persisted ever since even in the face of fierce resistance by the southern democrats who refused to accept any idea of equality until it became profitable for them to support it by making voters out of ’em and keeping them enslaved with the velvet chains of welfare. Trump has broken the chains, but barely.
For decades after the Civil War, and a free black culture of families, music and cooking developed and the problems of today, barely existed but the experimentations of cultural melding didn’t. Politicians, sensing empathy could be used as a lever for compliance, insisted that their experiment would work if only white folks would stand down a bit. Programs, such as the Freedman’s Bureau and a plethora of civil rights laws were enacted to try to achieve the results they wanted. LBJ changed the War on Poverty to The Great Society, his welfare scheme meant not to train Negros to achieve equity by their own initiatives but to enslave them to government handouts so they would vote Democrat for the next hundreds of years. After Democrats declared War on Poverty (welfare), they then ordered racial preferences in hiring and promotions first in federal, then city and state governments; built housing projects (Ghetto’s) to store them in and pushed entertainments like Bill Clinton’s midnight basketball. Who thought that one up? White folks don’t go out to play basketball in urban parks, they might get killed. Those initiatives were seen as unworkable intrusions into people’s lives black and white, and so it has proved!
The freedom to associate in one’s own cultural systems were discouraged. Parental protests over school bussing developed as government was determined to force white children be bused to black schools and vice-versa and still their schemes didn’t produce a happy, satisfied populous. It only divided it further. National Guard troops were even deployed in Arkansas to enforce school integration but all black schools still exist. Government spent a lot of our money on special programs to appease the rabble. Then, once the shouting died down, government relaxed educational standards completing the failure of most blacks, and whites, to close the achievement gap. Today our public schools are producing near illiterate socialist morons.
Force is always met with resistance. It’s a natural law of physics but especially most virulently between contending cultures. White backlash rose everywhere and to check it, liberalized government started punishing detractors, forcing results about race equity on the really uninterested public, threatening whites with charges of hate and racism and peppering the white races with hateful epitaphs, compliant or not. Government demands requiring white businesses install Affirmative Action programs for a people ill prepared to function within it were issued. Nothing was off limits so long as it didn’t damage the experiment and we see the results today. Incompetent black leadership destroying the cities they hoped to lead. W.E.B. DuBois, a Black Communist, envisioned a future with a “Talented Tenth,” of blacks, he thought, who “would lead the way for black people to achieve commercial, economic and social success.” He contended that a talented group of educated blacks would “knock down doors of opportunity and show the world what blacks were capable of.” Then the race baiters like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton took over and demanded equal outcomes for all Blacks with White reparations for those who came with a slave history regardless of their education or abilities.
We have come to tolerate that culture today, top heavy with too many black people refusing to function and prosper in a country based upon European (White) values they have been conditioned to despise. When in power, their management of city governments has been dismal and corrupt. Detroit, Michigan is bankrupt, the south side of Chicago, a war zone, LA and San Francisco filled with homeless camps and, most of black run cities all over the country are beset by degeneracy, violence and drugs involving multiple races while their politicians refuse to take responsibility for their failures. It’s racist to point out those failures. The results we saw in Cincinnati, the losers lashing out in anger and resentment and most still can’t even read or write. Neither white racism, white privilege nor white culture is responsible for black failure. Black leaders and politicians are and people, white and black, are getting sick and tired of the endless whining, violence and demands from a culture that doesn’t deserve it.
Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the only way. Now, let’s start electing real Constitutional candidates willing to restore America to its greatness and keep it there. (03Aug25)
