- Last week we had a special session to redraw the congressional lines. The governor signed the new maps. It will be submitted to the courts and won’t be complete until the end of the month. This is a complete election interference on all levels. If you are planning to run you cant put a game plan together for some many of the areas that the lines have changed. You dont know who will be in your district. At the state level reps, you have to be a resident for the district for at least one year to run in the district.
