During Biden’s administration, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp suspended the state gas tax (29 cents/gallon) before the 2024 primaries, a move seen as self-serving. Now chairman of the Republican Governors Association and a Council of Governors member, Kemp, who didn’t vote in the primaries and whose wife Marty withheld support from Trump, is now aligning with the President, hinting at a political deal. Kemp’s focus is on a tort reform bill (SB68), a complex civil litigation overhaul vote is scheduled  today, which he champions passionately—unlike his stance on immigration—despite ongoing state safety concerns like the murders of Laken Riley and Rosalina, and illegal immigration issues. Critics question his priorities and the benefits of his Trump alignment.

  • In GA during the Biden administration, Gov Kemp remembered the state gas tax about .29 cents a gallon. That was before the primary, before the 2024 election and would have benefited the governor himself. Brian Kemp is the chairman of the republican governors association. He is in DC. Kemp said he didn’t vote in the primary and Marty said that Trump hasn’t earned her vote.. Now they are working with him. What kind of deal was made? Were they saying that it is a benefit to us?
  • 10 governors were selected to serve a 2 year term for the council of governors. Kemp was elected. Then Kemp posted a favorable post on Trump. Saying republicans governors are ready to work alongside President Trump. Safe Communities… would that be Athens where Laken Riley was killed, or in Cherry Log were Rosalina was chopped up in a rental cabin, or the bus loads of illegals that were bussed through the state and the illegals that were flown into Atlanta.
  • Kemp has a tort reform bill. Today the vote on 3 bills including the civil litigation overhaul. The legal-eze in these bills are hard to comprehend. What is important is the importance of this bill, nothing on immigration. No has he ever been so passionate about a bill as he is this one.. It is concerning around the state.
