Rep. Rich McCormick, representing Georgia’s fast-growing 7th District, faces growing Democratic pressure as the party creeps into his turf, spotlighted by a contentious town hall where constituents challenged Trump’s agenda. While Democrats in blue districts demand Elon Musk’s firing, their real focus is McCormick’s seat amid Trump’s push for election security—urging governors at a recent luncheon to adopt paper ballots, same-day voting, voter ID, and citizenship proof, slashing costs and fraud tied to mail-in ballots and the USPS. Sen. Jon Ossoff’s previous calls for a postal service probe is seen as a distraction from Trump’s plan to overhaul it into a profit-driven entity, protecting Democratic reliance on mailboxes for voting. Trump’s broader moves—naming Dan Bongino as FBI deputy, clashing with Maine over a trans athlete ban with funding threats, and replacing top Pentagon brass with Lt. Gen. “Raisin” Caine—signal a aggressive restructuring, fueling Democratic efforts to undermine McCormick in a district critical to their strategy.

  • Why do you think they are going after Rich McCormick? Lawmakers are on recess and many went home and held town halls. You have democrats in large +D districts where they were yelling “fire Elon Musk” then you have Rich McCormick. The fastest growing county of the nation. The democrats are creeping into his district.
  • Just yesterday a democrat senator of GA, Ossoff, said there needs to be an investigation in the postal service. They were ok that billions were being flushed into the organization. Their issue was not to correct the postal service but to calm you down to give you the belief they were handling it. The democrats can’t afford to lose those mailboxes, mail in ballots,
  • They are glossing over what happened at the governor’s luncheon. Trump told them to go to paper ballots that cost 8% of the machines. Same day voting and voter ID and proof of citizenship. Trump is asking all republican governors to go to paper ballots, same day voting, voter ID and proof of citizenship. Saving 10s of millions of dollars and a safe and secure election. Computers are not meant for voting. Anytime you have mail in ballots you are going to have fraud. Trump has access to information. He is standing in front of every governor of the united states of america and talking to every one. He highlights every republican governor. There was a reason why he gave a nod to Brian Kemp, it was a direct to brian Kmep to get the paper ballots, same day voting, voter ID and proof of citizenship. Saying that the American people are owed a secure and safe election without computers.
  • They are freaking out that we are going to turn the USPS into a clean profit driven organization.
  • Trump names podcaster Dan Bongino to be second in command at the FBI. If Trump is looking at the camera and telling you the FBI thugs. And looking at the governors to get paper ballots. We are going to burn it down and raise it up.
  • Trump clashed with Maine’s state leader over trans athletes. As soon as Trump signed an executive order to keep boys out of girls sports the NCAA complied with Trump’s order. Maine came out saying they would not comply with the order. Trump is telling them they will not get any federal funds.
  • Trump replaces the top general. Raisin Caine will be the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The media is calling it the friday night massacre at the pentagon. Top generals and top pentagon lawyers.
