The Georgia Hour, episode 123: GAGOP’s McKoon and Fredericks Scramble to Cover Tracks in Frost Family Ponzi Scandal!

Geor­gia Repub­li­can Par­ty (GAGOP) Chair­man Josh McK­oon and radio host John Fred­er­icks face back­lash over their ties to the Frost family’s alleged $140M Ponzi scheme. McK­oon issued a state­ment claim­ing a “moral duty” to return $36,844 in taint­ed Frost dona­tions, dis­tanc­ing him­self from the scan­dal while avoid­ing calls for the Frosts’ res­ig­na­tion from GAGOP roles. Fred­er­icks, after endors­ing Brant Frost V in 2023, now claims shock and insists the Frosts should exit GOP pol­i­tics, despite his close GAGOP ties. Crit­ics on X ques­tion their “CYA” moves as insuf­fi­cient, demand­ing trans­paren­cy in GAGOP’s finances amid alle­ga­tions of mis­man­aged FEC fil­ings. #GAGOP #PonziS­cheme #Geor­giaPol­i­tics

• When did tak­ing on cor­rup­tion head on be con­tro­ver­sial. 
• We need to get into the can­di­dates in GA. But the AJC, where repub­li­cans go to die, they will make deals with Greg Bluestein think­ing that he will not go after them. Repub­li­cans feel that they have the AJC on their side. The AJC is doing every­thing they can to make sure that every­one knows the Frost name in Geor­gia and that there is a $140M Ponzi scheme that used chris­t­ian con­ser­v­a­tive to defraud their vic­tims with the GAGOP. 
• The Frost fam­i­ly is the Cult of Cowe­ta Coun­ty. Brant IV is going to say “there is always mon­ey in the banana stand” to Brant V. 
• The chair of the demo­c­rat par­ty of GA, Char­lie Bai­ley made a cou­ple of com­ments. But for the most part when you oppo­nent is explod­ing just sit back and watch. All the repub­li­can par­ty can­di­dates have the Frost fam­i­ly stench on them. 
• There is such a thing as truth in adver­tis­ing. John Fred­er­icks, Erick Erick­son, Hugh Hewitt and Char­lie Kirk’s attor­neys will be called. Fred­er­icks is very close, he went over the top endors­ing the Frost prod­uct. The AJC went right after the endorse­ments for the prod­uct. John Fred­er­icks did not direct­ly ask for the Frost fam­i­ly to resign from the GAGOP but he did say that the fam­i­ly should be removed from repub­li­can pol­i­tics. All these peo­ple have lawyered up and are writ­ing state­ments to cov­er them­selves. He wants you to believe that he vet­ted these peo­ple and that he is shocked. But he is deeply tied into the cir­cle. 
• Every­day some­one releas­es an arti­cle at the AJC about the Frost fam­i­ly. Who received dona­tions from First Lib­er­ty, the Frosts and their com­pa­nies? More than $1.4M in cam­paign con­tri­bu­tions. 
• Karen Hentschel has been run­ning the books at the GAGOP for 16 years. John Pad­gett chair of the GAGOP and there was a racial claim dur­ing his term where Karen said some racial things and she keeps her job. Mil­lions of dol­lars are flow­ing through GAGOP Inc. Every­time you turn around when she files the paper­work for the FEC there is always a refile with cor­rec­tions. There are trip­li­cate entries that we have nev­er got­ten an answer on and there are per­son­al charges from Josh McK­oon. Yet the GAGOP was able to go through their books to find a num­ber of dona­tions from the Frost fam­i­ly. Remem­ber there are 3 mem­bers of the Frost fam­i­ly on the state com­mit­tee. 
• Josh is try­ing to throw the Receiv­er off the scent. He is sniff­ing a lit­tle too close to the GAGOP. They don’t need any­one look­ing at the GAGOP books. He is hop­ing that the blood­hound will not get close to the books. The GAGOP is so inter­twined with the Frost fam­i­ly. Why did the GRA allow Brant V to con­trol the GRA PAC. Although they are sep­a­rate it still has its name. They were pump­ing mon­ey to the son Brant V to send out to law­mak­ers. Right after the State con­ven­tion on June 7 where the Frost fam­i­ly was heav­i­ly involved and rigged and par­tic­i­pat­ed in. White the Frost fam­i­ly was broke and the Ponzi scheme was over they wrote $5K to GAGOP and $3500 to Kan­diss Tay­lor. 
• The GRA PAC received 40% of its funds from the Frost fam­i­ly, $162K. 
• Erick Erick­son has not made a state­ment. All the oth­ers say no com­ment. John Fred­er­icks is real­ly tight with Josh McK­oon, Brant V, Salleigh Grubbs and entwined with the GAGOP. When John Fred­er­icks writes the state­ment that he was sur­prised, he didn’t just get to town. He had an over the top endorse­ment of Brant Frost in 2023.  
• We are far from over what is weaved into the fab­ric of the Frost fam­i­ly. We need to clean up the GAGOP and get every­thing out of the way because announce­ments are com­ing for cam­paigns. All the Frosts need to get out of the par­ty. Josh McK­oon and Salleigh Grubbs need to resign. We are not ok with the cor­rup­tion and we do not accept the cor­rup­tion.  
• The Sec­re­tary of State could be the group of can­di­dates that the vot­ers will real­ly scru­ti­nize.
