President Trump’s upcoming Alaska summit with Vladimir Putin aims to end the Russia-Ukraine war through a controversial land swap. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, initially firm on territorial integrity, is softening, but insists on constitutional approval and NATO membership or security guarantees—demands Putin rejects. European leaders, led by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, are in a panic, convening emergency summits to ensure Ukraine’s inclusion in talks, fearing a deal that sidelines NATO and weakens regional stability. Trump’s push for peace, including potential U.S.-Russia cooperation in the Arctic and space, contrasts with Europe’s hardline stance against Russian aggression. Meanwhile, Senator Lindsey Graham faces political heat in South Carolina, with a competitive governor’s race and questions about his Trump support. Domestically, Eric Holder’s redistricting efforts with Democrats stir controversy over census counts and voting. The U.S. extends a 90-day tariff pause with China, reflecting trade priorities amid global tensions. NASA’s 2030 lunar nuclear reactor plan underscores U.S. space ambitions. The Alaska summit could reshape Eastern Europe, testing Trump’s dealmaking against Zelenskyy’s resolve and Europe’s unity, with global implications for NATO, trade, and space exploration.

  • Remember Trump told Zelenskyy that he doesn’t have the cards. Russia has won the war. The war should have never started. We remember the Olympics when Xi told Putin to not roll the tanks while the Olympics are going on. It was about 2 weeks after the Olympics, we had satellite images that Putin had all these troops waiting on the border. We know that Russia has made deals with the US and NATO, and there was not going to be an encroachment on the Russian border by NATO. NATO edged up to the line that was agreed upon. The Europeans want the war, the Lindsey Grahams of the world want the war. Trump is going to stop it.
  • The EU is freaking out over this meeting. The US wants to work with Russia on the arctic, in space and more. There are other deals that need to be made other than Ukraine. Trump to join European leaders on emergency call before Putin talks. German Chancellor convenes extraordinary top-level summit ahead of critical Ukraine negotiations in Alaska. Zelensky softens stance on land concession.
  • Apparently Zelenskyy may be thinking about his future. He is a young guy, he could retire. But he could also die, he could get rapid cancer.  Zelenskyy  wants the security guarantees and NATO. Putin says no to NATO and no more weapons and the root of the problem has to go.
  • Trump is meeting with Putin and talking about swapping the Ukrainian land. Zelensky said he will have to have constitutional approval to do the land swap, but he didn’t need constitutional approval to go to war, or claim martial law. Either Trump will tell Zelensky “lots of luck” or a deal could be made.
  • Graham says DC is the most dangerous place on Earth in defending Trump police takeover. Lindsey has serious opposition. He is nervous. They are trying to sober Lindsey up. There is a governor’s race also in South Carolina. The governor’s race is generating interest and Lindsey Graham has opposition. Be very careful when he wants to act conservative and that he supports Trump.
  • Eric Holder to strategize with House democrats on redistricting. Eric Holder is head of the National democrat redistricting committee, this is all about illegals voting and being counted on census.
  • US China extends tariff pause another 90 days.
  • NASA has set a 2030 deadline to build a 100-kw Nuclear reactor on the moon.
