Donald Trump’s recent statement advocating for paper ballots has intensified the battle over election integrity in Georgia, particularly in Fulton County, where the State Election Board faces pressure to investigate 2020 election irregularities. Despite a judge ordering the appointment of Republican nominees Jason Frazier and Julie Adams to the Fulton County Board of Elections, Democrats are resisting, sparking legal disputes. Across Georgia, counties like DeKalb, Forsyth, and Cherokee face similar challenges with Republican nominee appointments, raising questions about Josh McKoon’s leadership. As JD Vance visits Atlanta and the RNC holds its summer meeting, Amy Kremer plans to deliver 200+ letters to Joe Gruters, pushing for paper ballots after a blocked convention vote. Meanwhile, Democrats, led by Charlie Bailey, aim to flip Georgia’s 1st district. Stay updated on this heated election controversy.
- Trump’s statement on his movement to paper ballots. WE have gone to meeting after meeting and people have filled the State Election Board meeting to launch an investigation into Fulton County. There has been a major push and for the most part they have been ignored. Now in Georgia we are waiting for the candidate’s statements and whether they support paper ballots.
- Fulton County republican party put up Jason Fraizer and Julie Adams to be their republican representatives on the board of elections. The judge says the commissioners have to do this. The democrats want Julie Adams to be off the board of elections and want to stop Jason Fraizer. The judge said yes. Fulton County said they didn’t have time to get it on the agenda property. We have a judge doing the right thing. Fulton county is making a lot of arguments that the judge cannot force them to appoint, that they are not there to rubber stamp. The problem is that there is no uniformed process across the state on the appointments to county election boards. The judge denies the order to stay.
- Before Josh McKoon brags about “his” work in Fulton County. We have to ask if Josh McKoon is happy with the handling of the DeKalb county board of elections after the judge rejected the DeKalb county republican party nominee and they had to submit another nominee which was Travis Bowden. Is he happy with Forsyth county and Cherokee county and there are others across the state that have had problems getting republican nominees on the county boards.
- JD Vance will be in town this week. The RNC is holding their summer meeting in Atlanta. Michael Whatley is moving on and is running for Senate in North Carolina. Trump has posted the rigged election several times and we just watched Trump posting the paper ballots push this morning. Now Amy Kremer will be giving Joe Gruters 200+ letters about the convention. There was a block at the convention on the microphones to change the rules to accept paper ballots. Not only were we denied paper ballots for our state elections but we were denied paper ballots at the state convention.
- Democrats are looking at taking over the 1st district. Charlie Bailey traveled all around the district.
