Trump’s Shocking Election Power Grab: Steering the RNC?

Pres­i­dent Trump’s push to fed­er­al­ize elec­tions, elim­i­nate mail-in bal­lots, and replace Domin­ion vot­ing machines with secure paper bal­lots sparks debate as Georgia’s con­tract with Domin­ion nears its end. Amid the RNC’s sum­mer meet­ing in Atlanta to elect Joe Gruters as chair, ques­tions arise about a post-Trump, post-MAGA GOP. Geor­gia Sec­re­tary of State Brad Raf­fensperg­er eyes a guber­na­to­r­i­al run, while a blue-rib­bon pan­el inves­ti­gates elec­tion integri­ty. Are Euro­pean lead­ers’ Ukraine secu­ri­ty talks over­shad­ow­ing Amer­i­ca First pri­or­i­ties?

• The last thing the Euro­pean lead­ers should have been doing was sit­ting around the table try­ing to get secu­ri­ty guar­an­tees for Ukraine. Yes­ter­day was not “Amer­i­ca First” day. 
• There are a lot of ques­tions here this morn­ing. If  in Biden’s admin­is­tra­tion, it was not ok to fed­er­al­ize elec­tions, then it is not ok for our side to do the same thing. Do you real­ly think that you would be sup­port­ing fed­er­al­iz­ing elec­tions but then be ok with Trump lead­ing a move­ment to get rid of mail in bal­lots. We agree with elim­i­nat­ing mail in bal­lots, get­ting rid of the machines, and hav­ing paper bal­lots with secure water­marks. Geor­gia was the first largest full state imple­men­ta­tion of Domin­ion vot­ing machines. We have seen how the machines can be altered. All the net­works have to con­tin­u­ous­ly say that Trump is false­ly claim­ing the elec­tion was stolen. Why would Trump roll this out yes­ter­day morn­ing with the big peace deal on the line with Ukraine? 
• Every­thing that all the politi­cians are doing is posi­tion­ing them­selves for the Post Trump era. The politi­cians do every­thing based on the future of their career. In Geor­gia we have a blue rib­bon pan­el that has been put togeth­er by the Geor­gia House on elec­tions. WE also have our con­tract com­ing due with Domin­ion so we have to find anoth­er machine. Brad Raf­fensperg­er chose Domin­ion vot­ing machines, first state to imple­ment the machines state wide.  
• Trump puts out as a repub­li­can par­ty. This week is a very big week for the par­ty. We start to see if the par­ty goes Post MAGA, Post Amer­i­ca First, Post Trump. Trump is try­ing to steer the par­ty because this week in Atlanta Geor­gia, machine Geor­gia, is the Sum­mer RNC meet­ing. They are going to elect Joe Gruters as the new RNC chair. Watch what the RNC does this week.
