OPINION: Leadership and The Deep State Syndrome

Submitted by George McClellan

If the rumors of the growing decline of the geriatric Democrat party leadership is true, being Marxists their next layer of leadership, if they have any, should be nearly as old and decrepit as Pelosi, Schumer, et al., are. The key word here is being Marxists, where age doesnt really matter, only strict adherence to the Party line does. Whoever takes over the helm will still march to the exact same playbook of lies, intrigues, tricks, frauds and deceptions to keep the movement going and the Republicans off balance. Its just a quirk of politics that the Democrat Party is reeling under the adverse affects of Joe Biden’s incompetence and his sons criminality now being embraced by the main stream media. Dont believe it. Its a scheme in fact, to remove Joe for reasons of dementia before he sinks their whole ship. Their sole problem now is what to do with Kamala?

Alas, the same age infirmities that affect the Democrat Party throughout seems to be lacking for the Republican Party save the current GOP leadership. Republican Senate minority leader, Mitch McConnell for one, knows the Senates rules of procedure inside out and backwards and wields them like the weapon they are to save the Senate for the RiNO deep state. After all creating personnel wealth is the reason many of them are there.

The GOP rules for advancement are strictly based on the seniority system even if the promoted is incompetent and unworthy. That staid process trumps all other schemes for promotion of the best and brightest over the dull and stupid. The main criteria for promotion is winning elections every six years, over and over again for Senators with proven histories of going along to get along. That might explain why McConnell withheld campaign funds from senatorial candidates supported by Donald Trump. Its the Deep State Syndrome at work. The same can be said of potential house Speaker Kevin McCarthy who denied funding from the GOP congressional war chest to Trump supported candidates. Its easier every two years to kick these people out by election than Senators but thats how the constitutional game is played and we must work within those parameters. In other words, next time McConnell is up for re-election, conservative Republicans should flood the state with anti-McConnell funds and door to door labor to do the deed.

McCarthys position as potential House Speaker is unstable because over the past few elections concerned voters have sent a new breed of pro American un-politicians to Wash. DC. to dismantle the corrupt RiNO machine. Marjorie Taylor Green (MTG) is a case in point. She won reelection despite the attacks against her including multiple calls to the police that shootings were going on at her home creating a possible death by police scenario of MTG. Nancy Pelosi foolishly denied MTG any seat on any committee or sub-committee, leaving her free to roam the Halls of Congress developing support for conservatism and organizing other new electees into the Freedom Conference thats applying extreme pressure on McCarthy to do whats right. She may now be in his head telling him what to do. Congressman Lee Zeldin who lost a squeaker for NY State governorship challenged McCarthy for party leadership and thus the potential Speakership come January. Zeldin, didnt but during his campaign, he did convert several NY Democrat seats Blue to Red.

Since, as it turns out, McCarthy has in fact been nominated to become the next Speaker in a closed door vote of the GOP House caucus, 188–31, but, it could indicate trouble ahead when the Congress goes to a full House vote on 03 January. Pay attention to the first year of the 2023 Congress and see if McCarthy leans to what MTG demands in his leadership. Dont forget that McCarthy like McConnell, also withheld GOP Congressional campaign funds to Trump supported candidates.

Senator Ted Cruz, like MTG, blamed McConnell for the Red Wave demise that should have been a landslide for Republicans. Cruz (R‑Tx) said: If you look at this last cycle, Mitch McConnell pulled the money out of Arizona. We could have won won Arizona. We nearly won Arizona and abandoning Blake Masters was indefensible, Why was Arizonas GOP candidate abandoned by Mitch McConnell? Because Masters said he would vote against Mitch McConnell, and so Mitch would rather be leader than have a Republican majority. If theres a Republican who can win, whos not gonna support Mitch, the truth of the matter is hed rather the Democrat win. So he pulled all the money out of Arizona, Term Limits anyone?

All Americans should consider what Mitch McConnell did as reprehensible. It’s why I decline to provide my donations to either the NRSC or the House counterpart. Both McConnell and McCarthy sabotaged the GOPs Red Wave hopes of holding both houses of Congress. There are changes coming, subtly, beneath the surface but sooner rather than later, youth will will out!

Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get em! (28Nov22)
