Senate Skepticism on Trump’s Cabinet Picks and Policy Maneuvers

Trump’s nom­i­nees, with Lori Chavez-DeRe­mer for Labor Sec­re­tary fac­ing oppo­si­tion from Rand Paul and BKP, and four sen­a­tors not vot­ing on Howard Lut­nick for Com­merce Sec­re­tary, giv­ing him the 51–45 approval. Mean­while, Trump’s admin­is­tra­tion moves for­ward with Kash Patel’s appoint­ment as FBI Direc­tor. Amidst this, Trump lever­ages media appear­ances to affirm his choice and sup­port for Elon Musk, in con­trast to crit­i­cisms from Steve Ban­non. Not Joe and Mika’s audi­ence. When you need a mes­sage they go to Sean Han­ni­ty. They had to make sure you are ok with Elon. Because Steve Ban­non issues a shock­ing take­down of Elon Musk. Ban­non calls Musk a par­a­sitic ille­gal immi­grant. And wants to impose his freak exper­i­ments and play-act as god with­out any respect for the country’s his­to­ry val­ues or tra­di­tions. Ban­non has repeat­ed­ly crit­i­cized Musk and called him a tru­ly evil per­son. So where are you? Trump said he tried to find some­one smarter. Trump was talk­ing to the Amer­i­can peo­ple.
