OPINION: Dealing With The Illegals Matter

The flood of ille­gal emi­grants invit­ed by Joe Biden to cross our south­ern bor­der with Mex­i­co is a nation­al secu­ri­ty issue that will adverse­ly affect Amer­i­ca — for­ev­er. The grow­ing cri­sis of the mass­es of dis­eased, une­d­u­cat­ed denizens of third world coun­tries, and gen­uine spies and ter­ror­ists from oth­ers is, while encour­aged by the Biden admin­is­tra­tion, basi­cal­ly being ignored by the media as a news item wor­thy of con­cern. It is not going unno­ticed by oth­er con­cerned ele­ments that fear for our coun­tries future. Some Left­ist spon­sored NGOs are abet­ting the flood with goods and ser­vices while oth­ers are fear­ful of it report­ing why the flood is allowed to con­tin­ue, what it por­tends for the future and how it can be stopped and reversed. Ask­ing why its allowed to con­tin­ue rais­es the fear of being called a racist. Cri­sis and fear are two oper­at­ing words the Democ­rats use to con­trol the pop­u­la­tion. Thats chang­ing with the real­iza­tion of the com­ing eco­nom­ic dis­as­ter the mil­lions of ille­gals are cre­at­ing!

Many of the ille­gals, when inter­viewed by real jour­nal­ists, claim that they came because Joe Biden invit­ed them and had a T shirt to prove it and they came to find mean­ing­ful employ­ment to sup­port their fam­i­lies back home until they can get their fam­i­lies here legal­ly under US Laws. In fact, immi­grants seek­ing employ­ment oppor­tu­ni­ties is the dis­qual­i­fy­ing ele­ment that should get them head­ed back home. Amnesty is the pre­ferred answer Biden wants to jus­ti­fy their entry across our bor­ders and many have been schooled to say it. But, amnesty from what? Its inter­est­ing to note that in inter­views of those ille­gals coached to give the prop­er answer, not one said they fled their home coun­tries because of polit­i­cal and/or reli­gious per­se­cu­tion. Not one! They were all look­ing for work and they got across any­way, sort of on parole. Its a mys­tery that these poor sots com­ing here claim­ing they suf­fered polit­i­cal and reli­gious per­se­cu­tion at home dont real­ize that its here in the good ol USA, where they will face reli­gious and polit­i­cal per­se­cu­tion by Bidens new gestapo, the shame­less FBI.

May­ors of todays dys­func­tion­al Blue sanc­tu­ary cities in dys­func­tion­al Blue sanc­tu­ary states are shocked by the unex­pect­ed influx of ille­gals sent there by bor­der state gov­er­nors. They say its cre­at­ing an intol­er­a­ble bur­den on the citys dwin­dling resources. NYC is fast los­ing its tax base as com­pa­nies flee the impo­si­tion of the rad­i­cal Lefts increas­ing demands on their pock­et books. If you own a hotel in NYC you can become wealthy rent­ing out rooms to the city for their sanc­tu­ary claimants and when the build­ings are ulti­mate­ly trashed and no longer hab­it­able, you can just walk away. What work is avail­able here for illit­er­ate peons who dont speak Eng­lish? We already have decades of ear­li­er immi­grants fill­ing the rolls of home and apart­ment clean­ers. Hun­gry young men with­out prospects see the streets of New York, Chica­go and oth­er Amer­i­can Blue towns as safe employ­ment prospects assault­ing peo­ple walk­ing the streets, home inva­sions and armed rob­berys. That will fill their sur­vival needs with more vio­lent acts that will fur­ther pre­cip­i­tate the exo­dus from the Blue cities tak­ing their source of rev­enue with them. Its a vicious cir­cle. Today, we see machines har­vest­ing fields of crops in an hour that would take a field full of Latin labor­ers toil­ing under a hot sun could in a week. These prob­lems come because Democ­rats and big cor­po­ra­tions think they see a need for cheap labor but, its real­ly because the Democ­rats need more vot­ers and will pay any price, suf­fer any indig­ni­ty and blame some­body else just to keep their dic­ta­to­r­i­al pow­ers.

In days of yore, long, long ago, when Amer­i­cans still believed in a great Amer­i­ca, Pres­i­dents Hoover, Tru­man and Eisen­how­er each faced a glut of ille­gals prob­lem they solved by mass depor­ta­tions, round­ing em up, includ­ing many Euro­peans, for­mer Nazis, and ille­gal Mex­i­can farm work­ers. As a post war lad grow­ing up in agri­cul­tur­al rich South­ern Cal­i­for­nia, I was acquaint­ed with the very suc­cess­ful annu­al Bracero pro­gram that per­mit­ted con­tract­ed Mex­i­can farm work­ers access to the US for the har­vest­ing sea­son. Most came not as indi­vid­u­als (ille­gals) but as con­tract­ed employ­ees hired by farm co-op’s giv­ing them employ­ment. They were brought to basic hous­ing encamp­ments, the one in my area being a for­mer Ital­ian POW camp, where they were pro­vid­ed ade­quate hous­ing and food sta­ples. Some, as sin­gles and even fam­i­lies, moved from farm to farm har­vest­ing crops most­ly cit­rus groves in my area, then moved north all the way through Wash­ing­ton State as the har­vest sea­son pro­gressed and the local jobs were fin­ished. When the pick­ing sea­son end­ed they were bussed home again, enmass, with a pock­et full of cash. The braceros were well treat­ed, seemed sat­is­fied with the arrange­ment because when they returned home, they were finan­cial­ly set­tled in their own com­mu­ni­ties. Most returned year after year but as the groves dis­ap­peared with the need for increased hous­ing that sucked up avail­able land, the need for the bracero har­vesters in South­ern Cal­i­for­nia end­ed. Col­orado still uses Mex­i­can har­vesters but I think the Bracero pro­gram is over.

The flood of ille­gal immi­grants isnt over though and our soci­ety can­not afford to accom­mo­date em any longer. We know how to fix the prob­lem but weve been conned into feel­ing sor­ry for em and of course, were told an eco­nom­i­cal­ly pow­er­ful coun­try like Amer­i­ca can sure­ly help em out, or some such sil­ly idea like that. Nev­er mind the rules, Its not who we are! BS!
