OPINION: Every Vote Is Important

We have all heard peo­ple say that all politi­cians are bad so they dont vote, or peo­ple say they dont vote because such and such is going to win any­way. At some lev­el these com­ments are under­stand­able, but not this year. The races in Geor­gia are all too close to call. So, every­ones vote is impor­tant. And there is a sig­nif­i­cant dif­fer­ence between the Repub­li­can and Demo­c­ra­t­ic can­di­dates this year.

The Democ­rats con­trol the Pres­i­den­cy, the House of Rep­re­sen­ta­tives, and the Sen­ate, yet they blame the Repub­li­cans for all the prob­lems our nation is expe­ri­enc­ing. If you like high gas prices, pay­ing off oth­er folks stu­dent debt, demor­al­ized law enforce­ment, open bor­ders, increased crime, Afghanistan like mil­i­tary oper­a­tions, and infla­tion, then dont vote or vote Demo­c­ra­t­ic. You will be guar­an­tee­ing that you and your fam­i­ly will expe­ri­ence more of the effects pro­vid­ed by the cur­rent nation­al lead­er­ship. And our elect­ed Geor­gia del­e­ga­tion in Wash­ing­ton has been right in there vot­ing for these dis­as­trous poli­cies almost 100% of the time. They may be good folks, but they are sim­ply a rub­ber stamp for Joe Biden.

At the State lev­el in Geor­gia, we have been for­tu­nate not to have the elect­ed cra­zies we see at the nation­al lev­el, but that is only one vote away. A Kemp Cam­paign rep­re­sen­ta­tive recent­ly stat­ed the Geor­gia Gov­er­nors race is too close to call, due to some Repub­li­cans stat­ing they would not vote because they are mad about the 2020 pres­i­den­tial elec­tion impro­pri­eties. Thats right. Repub­li­cans show the folks how upset you are by con­tribut­ing to the elec­tion of a Demo­c­ra­t­ic-social­ist to the Gov­er­nors office. Get over it! Trump got beat fair­ly or unfair­ly, but that race is over and unless the Repub­li­cans get out and vote with their brains, Geor­gia will lose a very qual­i­fied and expe­ri­enced gov­er­nor. We will then have all the ben­e­fits Joe Biden and his Demo­c­ra­t­ic par­ty has brought to our nation at our state lev­el. If you think there was some impro­pri­eties in the 2020 elec­tion, imag­ine what will hap­pen in the 2024 elec­tion if Stacey Abrams is our Gov­er­nor. Peo­ples pets may be able to vote — twice.

For­tu­nate­ly, at the State lev­el the Gov­er­nor and oth­er state elect­ed offi­cials have had their chal­lenges, but com­pared to oth­er states, Geor­gia has done very well these last two years, and con­trary to some can­di­dates com­ments, Geor­gia IS a great place to live. If we want to keep Geor­gia from becom­ing Wash­ing­ton, Vote! It has nev­er been more impor­tant. The num­ber of votes cast in Macon Coun­ty can lit­er­al­ly be the dif­fer­ence in the upcom­ing elec­tion. Please vote and vote for can­di­dates that rep­re­sent the aver­age Geor­gian and not the cra­zies in Wash­ing­ton.
