OPINION: Lets Pretend

Joe Biden is no gold­en boy, he has the Midus (sic) touch because every­thing he touch­es turns to crap. So we won­der, is Joe Biden, the pro­fes­sion­al politi­cian, real­ly at the top of his game? Naw, Just jok­ing. He does­nt even know what the game is! We are being led by a cabal of marx­ists who tell Joe Biden what to say and when to say it, except when Joe wan­ders off on a tan­dem on sub­jects that are most­ly lies about his his­to­ry, his accom­plish­ments and his good deeds. Joes brain lives in the past, one he cre­at­ed and sup­ports by lies that only he tru­ly believes. Joes a prop­er can­di­date for the 25th Amend­ment action but that cant be good.

The most insuf­fer­able ele­ment of pre­tend­ing, like Joe wants, is being expect­ed to dis­card our com­mon sense ratio­nal­iza­tion and accept what Joe and rad­i­cal politi­cians tells us are their truths. We dont allow lit­tle boys to pre­tend they are Indi­ans when play­ing Cow­boys and Indi­ans any more, but we are expect­ed to pre­tend grown men are women sim­ply because they say they are. And you are a racist, homo­pho­bic idiot if you say oth­er­wise. The pre­tense is excru­ci­at­ing so lets extrap­o­late that hyper­bole to all of our cur­rent polit­i­cal malaise that the rad­i­cal Democ­rats are demand­ing we accept as gospel.

Lets pre­tend that the 2020 elec­tion was fair and hon­est and Joe Biden is real­ly the legit­i­mate pres­i­dent of the US. Worse, lets pre­tend he knows what hes doing. Lets pre­tend that a major­i­ty of Amer­i­cans are pant­i­ng for Joe’s Social­ist Amer­i­ca over a con­sti­tu­tion­al Repub­lic where equi­ty, inclu­sion and diver­si­ty become the stan­dard of liv­ing mak­ing all Amer­i­cans equal­ly des­ti­tute. Elec­tion deniers beware! Lets pre­tend crime rates arent ris­ing, infla­tion isnt at 8.3% and ris­ing, our sys­tem of edu­ca­tion is pro­duc­ing world class schol­ars instead of clue­less dimwits and that our econ­o­my is hum­ming along as expect­ed but can be helped more by infu­sion of a few more gov­ern­ment print­ed dol­lars. Lets pre­tend we can thank Joe Biden for his flaw­less acu­men in for­eign pol­i­cy that has brought us to the real pos­si­bil­i­ty of a world wide nuclear war. Lets pre­tend that Joe isnt bank­rupt­ing our econ­o­my. Oh, nev­er mind! Lets pre­tend Amer­i­ca will nev­er go bank­rupt so long as the gov­ern­ment has a suf­fi­cient sup­ply of green ink, enough of its spe­cial paper and fast print­ing press­es that wont break down to keep up Joes eco­nom­ic suc­cess. Lets pre­tend that $31 tril­lion debt is real­ly incon­se­quen­tial and all a fig­ment of the Con­ser­v­a­tives imag­i­na­tion. Lets pre­tend that sun­beams and uni­corn farts are suf­fi­cient ener­gy sources to stim­u­late Amer­i­c­as econ­o­my back up to the lev­els Trumps had us and that coal, oil and gas are no longer need­ed to keep our econ­o­my run­ning, our sup­ply lines open, our shelves filled so that well not have to return to horse drawn carts and plows.

Did I say horse drawn carts? Oh my! Lets pre­tend Joes lit­tle elec­tric wiz­bangs that run on bat­ter­ies will suc­cess­ful­ly replace gas and diesel fuel as pro­pel­lents of our mobile econ­o­my. Lets pre­tend the Texas win­ter a while back that left two thirds of the state with­out pow­er because the wind tur­bines froze up and the clouds blocked the sun, was real­ly an inci­den­tal error that wont hap­pen again in a thou­sand years or, the hun­dreds of immo­bile EVs left stuck plug­ging up the I‑95 cor­ri­dor by a huge snow storm in Vir­ginia last year wont repeat itself.

Lets pre­tend that all our lit­tle inter­nal prob­lems are Trumps fault and not the result of Rad­i­cal left­ist poli­cies Joes admin­is­tra­tion has imposed upon us. Lets pre­tend we are safe and secure walk­ing the streets of our won­der­ful cities where art and dra­ma, cul­ture and music once flour­ished and we dont fear being robbed at gun point or accost­ed by the drug affect­ed home­less because the defund the police poli­cies of Democ­rats real­ly work. Lets pre­tend Joes FBI and Dept. of Jus­tice dont real­ly see Amer­i­cans as Domes­tic Ter­ror­ists at school boards, or that the addi­tion­al 87,000 new IRS hires are here to help us or that they would be bet­ter served at the US Bor­der with Mex­i­co. Let us pre­tend that Naw, Im tired of pre­tend­ing. Today is elec­tion day. I hope your one goal today was to vote and throw the ras­cals out. I hope we dont have to pre­tend these 2022 elec­tions are free and fair. Ive had enough damn lies!
