OPINION: Why The Red Wave Turned into a Red Trickle

Well, as many had hoped and long sus­pect­ed, Don­ald Trump did throw his hat into the ring for the 2024 pres­i­den­cy. In a near­ly typ­i­cal Trump speech, he laid out in clear detail what he intend­ed to do when he assumes the pres­i­den­cy in 2024. He promised to restore the US econ­o­my, return Amer­i­ca to ener­gy inde­pen­dence, rebuild the US mil­i­tary, restore the author­i­ty of police to com­bat crime every­where, encour­age pol­i­tics to embrace Com­mon Sense over Wokeism, start the clean­ing out of our debased edu­ca­tion­al sys­tem of its Marx­ists mas­ters, com­plete his pol­i­cy of clos­ing the bor­der, start the long process of round­ing up the mil­lions of ille­gals that think they have found sanc­tu­ary and safe­ty in our neigh­bor­hoods and, drain the Deep State swamp. Did I miss men­tion­ing low­er­ing the Infla­tion rate? Thats a tough one since Bidens trea­sury have already squan­dered tril­lions of dol­lars but, weve got to start some­where. How about start­ing with observ­ing the basis laws of eco­nom­ics as a good begin­ning.

The main take-away here is what the GOP Lead­er­ship, Nev­er Trumpers actu­al­ly, did­nt do. With one or two excep­tions, they did­nt cam­paign on the issues that got Trump elect­ed in his first cam­paign and that he restat­ed in this speech. The GOP felt san­guine in lim­it­ing their attacks to how destruc­tive Joe Biden and his admin­is­tra­tion are. Don­ald Trump told us he would make Amer­i­ca pow­er­ful again, wealthy again, strong again, proud again, safe again and great again, but we did­nt hear that mes­sage from Repub­li­can can­di­dates at all, did we?

I said: in a near­ly typ­i­cal Trump speech because what he did­nt do or say, was to con­tin­ue his attack on Ron DeSan­tis or con­tin­ue his com­plaints about the 2020 elec­tion being stolen. We all know that and agree that some­thing nefar­i­ous hap­pened that pro­pelled the idiot Biden into the pres­i­den­cy. The evi­dence is mount­ing that it was basi­cal­ly stolen as alleged and, judg­ing by the results of these 2022 mid terms, we see Democ­rats still hard at work try­ing to alter vote counts to favor Democ­rats in local elec­tions. Clear­ly, some­one put a word in Trumps ear and he lis­tened. More impor­tant­ly, Trump had a splen­did record of suc­cess keep­ing his promis­es. Con­verse­ly, MAGA Con­ser­v­a­tives, have lost faith in the abil­i­ty of the Fed­er­al Gov­ern­ment to right the econ­o­my, restore ener­gy sources to pre-Biden lev­els, pro­tect us from crim­i­nals freely roam­ing the streets and end­ing their screw­ball Woke notions on Crit­i­cal Race The­o­ry and issues of diver­si­ty, inclu­sion and equi­ty that pit the black race against Cau­casians and Asians instead of ele­vat­ing them to where they should be, equals under the law with oppor­tu­ni­ties every­body is con­sti­tu­tion­al­ly enti­tled to.

Nei­ther did the Repub­li­can cam­paign effort direct Amer­i­c­as con­cerns to the politi­ciza­tion of the Dept of Jus­tice and the FBI that have, on Biden’s behest, offi­cial­ly turned tyran­ni­cal. When an admin­is­tra­tion turns the machin­ery of gov­ern­ment into polit­i­cal action char­ac­ters to sup­port Marx­ist poli­cies, and they do it will­ing­ly by attack­ing par­ents rais­ing seri­ous issues at school board meet­ings about CRT, pornog­ra­phy books in school libraries, reli­gious pro­test­ers against mur­der­ing chil­dren and round­ing up Trump sup­port­ers in the ear­ly morn­ing hours deem­ing them domes­tic ter­ror­ists and vot­ers still vote for their slav­ery, then we can be assured it is con­sti­tu­tion­al­ly cor­rect and prop­er to seri­ous­ly con­sid­er our own self-defense.

Blue States and Red States are filled with peo­ple who no longer trust one anoth­er on mat­ters of pol­i­tics. Polite dis­cus­sion are no longer attempt­ed because Marx­ists ideas are set in the con­crete of Marx­ist indoc­tri­na­tion advo­cat­ing for the new reli­gion of gov­ern­ment con­trol that pro­vides for our safe­ty, our dai­ly needs and our hap­pi­ness. We will become Balka­nized in short order, not like the North vs. the South but this neigh­bor­hood vs. that one. Law and order will be gone, a return to the feud will be para­mount and sud­den death by ambush will become the norm. Trump made promis­es in his first elec­tion and he kept them. I have no rea­son to think he wont do so now, how­ev­er, its a long cam­paign ahead of us and if a strong Repub­li­can like DeSan­tis or Pom­peo or anoth­er makes the cut, theyll get my unequiv­o­cal sup­port.

Remem­ber, free­dom is the goal, the Con­sti­tu­tion is the way. Now, go get em! (16Nov22)
