Call or go to your local Board of Edu­ca­tion meet­ings and ask a cou­ple of ques­tions. 1) How many stu­dents are cat­e­go­rized with­out legal doc­u­ments, in GA it is 999? 2) Ask how much mon­ey they get from the fed­er­al gov­ern­ment for each of these stu­dents? 3) Ask how much mon­ey they get from the state for the same stu­dents? 4) ask how many ESL teach­ers have they hired this year and what is their pay? Now that is what you are pay­ing for just your schools. Not to men­tion med­ical, hous­ing, etc. See how that stacks up to the $12M. See how many did­nt get back on the bus like over here in Dade Co GA.
