E.Os. Can We Possibly Survive the System?

Unremarked over the past few presidencies was the growing trend of Chief Executives to rule by Executive Orders. George Washington did it but since Obama, the Leftist ones have embraced the idea they can enact rules and regulations to circumvent the US Constitution and the intent of the founding fathers. Of course, the Congress is no help because long ago it willfully abdicated its constitutional functions passing statutory authority to enact rules and regulations to heads of Departments and Bureaus in the government, and big banks who fund much of it, from outside the government. These unelected busy bodies now set the rules and regulations by which our daily lives and guided which all Americans are obligated to obey lest they come after us individually and send us to jail. When challenging such assumed authority the Left calls us conspiracy theorists and sends out the FBI to intimidate in not arrest those in non compliance. In Bidens government, the ugly truth is still being revealed despite their whining about conservatives commentators proving the conspiracy theories as fact.

I thought Obama made use of EOs as his signature method of enacting his desired changes of social policies; but they pale in comparison to the damage Joes is doing. Youd think Obama was still running the show. Obama famously stated: I have a pen and a cell phone, and he used them in an attempt to thwart the constitutional defenses against his push to fundamentally change America. Democrats continue that practice to this day on the theory that its easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission. Of course, they do neither but the concept is there and, they never apologize.

Executive Orders is the vehicle by which a President is supposed to manage the operations of the Executive branch of Government like George Washington did. Once signed, the EO is registered with the Office of the Federal Register (OFR) who then publishes it. Congress may try to overturn an executive order by passing a bill to block it but the president can veto that bill which the Congress would then have to override. We dont see much of that, or little pushback mainly because both partys love the idea that their guy can enact their own rules and regulations as they see fit regardless of the constitutional prohibitions. The worse part of EOs is that they are not laws per se, and have no staying effect even when a new president assumes power. So, the great harm that can be done works both ways. We need only look at what Joe Biden did to erase Trump’s brilliant economic policies that, for awhile made America great. When Trump returns, he will likewise sweep away all of Bidens BS EOs.

But, it raises the question, from where does this extraordinary presidential authority arise especially if they are written to enact processes over which neither the Executive or the Congress has constitutional authority? Most of that authority actually rests with the states. Over the decades, we have come to assume the President has immense power, like a king or monarch, but he doesnt. Hes absolutely limited by the constitution so to get anything done, presidential EOs took on a role more important than the constitution allows and we were convinced to ignore them. But, good or bad, still things got done.

We can see the value of EOs but not when applied to foreign trade issues, improving National Security or immigration enforcement, and etc., etc., but many of them unlawfully contravene the Constitution and we see little pushback. The continued attempts to override the 2nd amendment, Obamas navigable waters issue delegating federal authority over lakes, ponds, streams and rivulets in which even a canoe couldn’t be floated, represent a stealth attack on our freedoms. The gun rights argument will go one for decades. But at what point in running a government does a president claim the authority at a whim, to completely alter our countrys smooth running economics, like Joe Biden did with Trumps energy policies? Bidens destructive Executive Orders relegated America at once, to an energy beggar state. There was no economic reason for Bidens EO to stop the pipeline or limit drilling except to debilitate America’s role in the world’s economy and sacrifice it on the alter of inefficient Green Energy. The US petrol dollar, for the moment, still anchors the world’s monetary system, but that doesnt sit well with the globalist bankers of the New World Order driven by the World Economic Forum and other leftist political groups. The unlimited use of Executive Orders for the purpose of damaging America’s Western Culture and install in its place a top down tyrannical technocracy of our enlightened betters to lead us, if successful, will render all the world’s countries who relied on America’s protection, into slave states dependent on our betters for our every comfort. We need only to look at the eighty or so years of Stalinist’s Russia to realize the awful implications. But, like the Soviets, todays Marxists fail to take into account human nature.

Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get em! (15Mar23)
