OPINION: But What About the GOP?

Submitted by George McClellan

I have said often enough, after Trump’s stunning victory in 2016, that the Democrats do not intend to lose any more elections ever again, no matter how awful their governance is or has been, or how weird and demented their candidates are. To stay in power they will lie, cheat and steal. What does the Republican Party do about? Pretend they are relevant!

The GOP seems to be the party of perpetual losing. The Senate GOP leadership debases candidates not of their choosing (RiNOs), or who were supported by Donald Trump. They will support the enemy who they feel is better in an office than seeing an ass kicking Donald Trump returned to the presidency. Conservative voters have poured tons of money into the coffers of the GOPs National Senatorial Campaign Committee fund and we still lost the Senate. How is it allowed that Mitch McConnell picks and chooses what Republican candidates hes going to provide campaign funds to and declare if theyre not for the party leadership, then their on their own? Oz should have won. Laxalt should have won, Masters should have won, even Herschel Walker should win and would if he had GOPs senatorial committee support.

Government, and that includes deep state RiNOs, are in the hands of America’s enemies if not in fact an integral part of them. America has arrived at the tipping point where the takers, the welfare grabbers, the sick, lame and lazy, the ones who succumbed to the democrat federal governments out right pay for no work bribery following the Covid pandemic, are apparently out numbering the producers. We were warned as far back as the founding fathers that when enough people can vote themselves other people’s money, then the Republic is doomed.

We know how the Democrats run election polls especially in voter rich city environments where the government tit is readily available to all who seek it, no questions asked. It now includes free money for the swarms of illegals from countries all over the world who come here, not to be Americans, thats old fashion, but to feed at the public trough. Taking no chances, Democrats still accept after hours uncounted ballots from trunks of poll workers automobiles or from un-emptied ballot boxes and expect us to believe its fair. Theyll scream deniers or racist if one challenges their election results but they didnt do that when Trump and George Bush won. They challenged every vote, every chad hanging ballot and every nuance of voter poll operation. They are deniers of the first order and what do we do about it? From the GOP side, nothing! Its not the GOP protecting the election process or Americas sovereignty, Its private groups rising to the challenge and winning in court battles. Under Biden Administration they are in danger of being declared Enemies of the State by the DoJ for challenging their corrupt election results.

A battle has been ignited within the GOP ranks and the old RiNO hands, the McCarthys, McConnells, etc. must, in the end, realize the oncoming flood of activist conservatives including women will be flooding the election process. Suspected new Speaker of the House, wary Republican Kevin McCarthy, puts a happy spin on the fact that the GOP even barely taking the House will succeed by repeating the standard cantata about delivering (1) a strong economy, (2) make the nation safe, (3) a future based on freedom and (4) government accountability. Apparently, the House GOP Caucus believes McCarthy is the only person they want to be House speaker, but the Conservative Freedom Caucus don’t trust him at all and are trying to get procedural rule changes that will give their members more power. Fat chance for that, at least for the present.

Apparently, by last minute vote counting in Arizona and Nevada, weve lost the Senate but, we havent heard from Georgia yet. Some conservative senators want to postpone the GOP leadership elections set for this Wednesday but why? There are no challengers to those leadership positions so get on with it. To not do so is to spread the idea that the GOP is confused, apathetic and unprepared. Can you believe that? Yes!

For the next two years the Republican House will launch committee oversight hearings trying to creak open the protected closed files of the DoJ and the FBI while those bureaus, still in Biden’s hands, set about finding or creating reasons to charge individual Republicans with heinous crimes, even procedural ones while ignoring the organized crime familys of the Clintons, Biden’s, et al. Merrick Garland, US Atty. General must be held accountable.

Trump is my man. I certainly do not ignore the potential of a DeSantis, Pompeo, or any of the fine candidates in the GOPs background, but I do despair when the Donald attacks them against the advice left us by Ronald Reagan. There is a time and place for that and its on the debate stage, not publicly as the Donald recently disparaged Ron DeSantis. There is a deep base of Trump loyalty out there, not because Trumps defends his ego but because he did the impossible in his four years, Making America Great Again despite the multiple failed attacks against him, and we believe he can do it again. I want to see Trump back in office for his second term secure in the knowledge that now knowing how the game is played, he will direct his best efforts not only to restoring America to the economic greatness he left for Joe Biden to destroy, but to the complete destruction of the Marxist Party USA and drive the rest of em insane while doing it.

Im suspicious of candidates whole heartedly supported by McCarthy and McConnell and so should you. They must support their RiNO investments to the deep state or many of them could be headed for prison. America right now can be pushed back to the center if/when more government whistle blowers, especially in the FBI and Intelligence agencies, come forward. Political schemes are hard to hide, difficult to understand and when exposed, can either bring down a politician or party but only when federal law enforcement hasnt been politicized into believing thuggery and night time arrests will protect the state regardless of the Constitutional prohibitions against it.

So, the 2022 election wasnt a red wave at all but weve won a lot especially at local and state levels and that portends well for the future, if the GOP doesnt screw it up.

Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get em! (14Nov22)
